Debojit OR Hema? - Page 2

I think the resonance in Hemachandra's deep voice is an attractive quality. Diction is something which one can work on and get around. Many singers have done that. Infact Lata Mangeshkar, it is said had a diction problem while pronouncing Urdu words. She got herself a tutor who trained her on the nuances of the language. And later, she mastered the language so much so that renowned poets admired her pronunciations despite being a Maharashtrian.

Hemachandra is young and will be able to overcome this shortcoming (By the way, I havent really found too much of an accent in his words - that way, even Debojit has an accent in some of the words he uses).

He deserves it to sing for Bolly...Hema is also good..But most of the people here is of the opinion that Hema's voice will be better for Southie movies..Spc his voice sounds like BalaSubra..

i dunno if it is juz me but i'v never heard of a "voice" suiting one language better in comparision to other langs.😆 true if u try hard u can hear SPB in him juz like u can hear kishore da in debu. i dun c dat as a gud enough excuse to keep him out of bollywood. well anyways if he dosn't sing fo bollywood it is da hindi musics loss alone. the kid has got gr8 potential n its sad if hindi industry fails to recognize this.

Today also HEMA got Yellow..
I think most public is against Hem..

HEMA GUYS - AS HR said "Diction"

I like them both and to be honest I like them better than Vinit who i think
needs to get his mature voice.

i don't really see diction as a problem for either guy. It can be fixed and
sorry to say but with the way things are on TV now, diction and spelling
are out the window anyway.

Of course Debo has the better backstory since he is older, the supportive
wife, etc...

I want to take this opportunity to say that Hema is a good singer but is
not playing the game well. He does not play to the crowd nor does he
shamelessly ask South Indians to vote for him. Yes it wrong that he
should have to but this is apparently the game. Also I blame AS for
wasting his goodwill on promoting Rajiv instead of Hema - -his first
choice I remind everyone.

As HR said at the beginning, Debo is the most well rounded singer and
should win the contest so long as he does not screw up. He said the
same for Nihira.

I also am worried that the same people who like Debo also like Hema and
that that voter base is being split while the tenny bopper girls are all
going for Vinit. Well - -maybe not since Paresh is still there.

I noticed diction mentioned again and I am beginning to think that some
people are hiding regional biases and couching it in the form of criticism
of diction. Not all of course but it makes me think that maybe there is
some bias againt Hema in the general population of India. Which again is
why he has to appeal to his fellow South Indians to show their good taste
and knowledge and vote for Hema.

I agree with you completely on both the points you have mentioned. I myself am a great fan of both Hema and Debo.

You are right on mark regarding Hema's diction.

So far Debojit has sung better than Hema in all shows aprt from the Diya mirza one so I am gonna say DEBOJIT ALL THE WAY!
