It always doesn't have to be the crux of matter that he didn't perform well last week.

I've only been upset with 2 of his performances in total and thats' coming from me; his biggest fan

People are voting as per the performance of the previous week. So it doesnt matter what he did earlier. If you dont perform well in the last last episode most likely you are done.

i don't think this is the case. people who are fans of a person will usually vote for them regardless of the performance. most people are biased towards people they like. it's human nature.
