her voice bothers me too sometimes. She is a good singer, she will be perfect for old generation songs...not for disco, hiphop and other new generation ones. I agree that she has good personality, somehow I couldn't associate much with her voice. It may be my inability, but thats the truth.

I think Vishal Bharadwaj had the most accurate comment to make about Sniti. He said that given that hers is a really unusual voice, it takes time for the listener to get used to it. And that it is both her strength and her weakness. I agree that I am occasionally put off by what appears as sharpness but then in some songs her voice creates a beautiful effect like the song Nusrat song she sang recently. Either way she is unique and she can sing really well.

u r right this fourm is flooded with so many topics not only relating to sniti but also about sugandhha are opened to downgrade them and show abhilasha is better???? what other reasons could be!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with you. Her voice is squeaky, harsh, sharp and just terrible to listen to. I have to mute the TV when she's singing. Even my dog kaalia starts squirming if I don't mute it.
