Will Lata agree to sing w/Sharib?

I wish Sharib the best. He is a very good singer.

I also hope that ID did not get carried away by his emotions and promise Sharib a song with Lataji.

It should be the other way round! With all due respect to the great lady, while Lataji is a legend, and was the best singer there ever was in India, she sounds terrible these days. Unless she is singing playback for someone playing grandma, and Sharib sings playback for someone playing grandson...I dont see how it will work!

Then maybe if it is a love song , ID should consider giving the song to Nihira & Sharib.

As much as i hope this comes true for Sharib, here is the truth. Lataji is a great singer, and over the years with all the interviews and personal comments i have read regarding her career, i have come to know that Lataji is very very picky on whom she sings with, and never yet has she ever sung with someone who does not have a BIG name in the industry.

I really HOPE ID kept his words.....and lata should give sharib a chance he totally deserves it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lOvE sHaRiB!

U r so right..classyhombre...i think it would have been so cool to see Sharib and Nihira being the winners of SRGMP!!!

Well I just hope Lataji comes down from her high horse and gives a chance to a newcomer. If she truly loves music she should encourage new talents and leave a legacy of good music.

That was my response too. Its Sharib who needs to agree to sing with Lataji. Everyone has their prime days. Lata had hers and is way past that. She ruined some of the Veer Zarra songs.

o no- that is so true..now i'm really worried 😕...i had other doubts in my mind too...like ID might go back on his word...the song might b a flop...or the male part might be really rubbish (like just background singing to support the female singer)...all we can do is keep our fingers crossed for sharib because he really deserves a big break coz he is truly amazing!
