I just watched the saregamapa show where Hema and Nihira tied !! In my opinion it was like watching a fixed cricket match. Only a few knew whats going to happen and they staged it all through the show.
This is why I suspect:
Nihira said that in the last episode she did not get good points from the mentors.. and so she thinks she might be in trouble. In fact she got very high points from all the mentors.. she got 9. 9 and 7. And Sanjay Leela Bansali has great words for her including that Nihira is the hope of Indian music industry. Ismail said "Mein tumhe 100 de raha hu" !! And she said she was worried ... and when she saw the yellow .. she had a smile. Even before they showed the yellow to Nihira ,.. Ismail said Jatin said that the public were wrong and he also will say so if reqd. And what do we see... just after the yellow he does what he prepared us for. He says public does not deserve good singers. How did he know that hes going to say things against the public !! Nihira's total behavior was so suspicious. Also Hem was smiling and laughing even when he was told he got a yellow and when the yellow guys were singing .. Nihira was pretty happy.. Hem was sooo sooo happy .. with all smiles .. and only person tense was Rajeev (he surely was not in all this). Next is when Shaan declared the result.. Rajeev was tense and Hem and Nihira were relaxed.. think of this.. these two could be eliminated !! And Hem knew he was against Nihira .. so he was almost staring at elimination and he didnot show the slightest sign of tension.
And to top that Shaan now has two envelopes .. one each for Hem and Nihira. And when they saw the percentages were same.. both of them started smiling and were soo soo happy !! Ok tied.. but who told them tie means both are in ... because they already knew the results even before the show started !!
And my take is Nihira was never in the bottom three... she was brought in to the last two just to look Hem look good and show that public was wrong!! All just to help Hem survive this and to point how bad the public judgement is !! So we all are busy discussing .. how could Nihira get a yellow and thank God nihira was saved .. but the truth is Hem was the last guy and was saved !! Nihira just acted as a yellow light contestant..
It seems Hem is the darling of Mr. Gajendra and he will see to that Hem moves as high as possible.. and will not go home before Rajeev.
This show was so so unprofessional... Himesh explains that its not fixed and that they both got exactly equal NUMBER of votes .. Shaan said equal NUMBER of votes ... not percentages .. Cummon give us a break ... equal votes !! Later when they realized it wont go well with the public .. they sent out people to explain on the forum all things about the decimal point and that the diff was 20 votes etc.
This is just my opinion and if you see the show again you will realize how fake the show was !! And how fixed the whole thing was !!
