One of the best sung-songs every by Himesh. I'm saving that for the Final Rounds. Not only one of the best from Himesh, but one of the best I've ever seen anybody sing. What amazing singing. 👏

I cant give mark for this performance. The rating provided has some flaws.There is nothing less than zero ( negative rating). I m a unbiased listner and I duly give deserved credit, na kam na jyada.

Now coming back to the topic, lets get this straight, the background music is just amazing, a with his recent compositions. The violin played is just amazing, its just perfect on the ears.

But the good news ends there.

Whats with the beginning? A singer must make a song sing in such a way that it conveys to the listener what's he trying to express. But beginning with the new "UUU" raag alaap is just irritating, it just sounds like a wolf. Just imagine you tuning to a radio and all of a sudden this happens, you wonder what the hell is he singing? Its just the beginning of a disaster.
Then carrying on forward, the beginning itself is a big letdown. Complete lack of "real" expressions show from the moment he sings the said words. Its akin to reciting a poem as a punishment when you are hit hard by a school teacher as a result you fail to deliver. Now, comes the much debated "nasal" part. It shows from the beginning. Why can't he sing naturally? he could have done, a zillion times better. The feel is just fake, absolute no control of sur and even his voice sometimes labours the moment he changes scale and goes a bit higher.

The middle verse-tere armanon ka...gets even tiring, it just cries...enough of the torcher for the listener, it gets slower and more tiring as it progresses and even the female singer becomes a victim of the doldrums, though he does try hard but falls flat again. The song is tipped to be a romantic track but alas..it is exactly the opposite..no hint of feel, no expressions, just like a punished kid reciting a poem while waling. the end is even bakwaas. Somehow abrupt.

And than again, the wolf like "UUU" raag alaap in between.

Come on, get real himesh. Besides the violin tuning, this song is a total disaster.

4/10.

The hate on IF against Himesh is unbelievable. Here is a singer who won prestigious singing awards for this performance, and it's shocking how low he is still getting marked.

It sounds like a legend. The debut of someone big. You just know this voice will be heard even 50 years from now. He just sounded like a legend from the start. Heads turn and ears listen attentively.

And the impressive singing continued. No wonder he won filmfare and IIFA (2 prestigious award functions) for his singing here. And what a composition. Truly legendary.
