Lately these game shows are turning out to be nothing more than mechanism to get more money flowing into the hands of the phone companies. Knowing that India is the country it is (huge and highly emotional), one should not be surprised if less talented singers keep getting more votes just because they are different (a cook, a NRI) and good talents get unnoticed just because they are very straight forward and simple and do not know how to play with people's emotions to garner votes. It is shocking to see Nihira and Hemchandra in the bottom two, while Paresh and Twinkle appear much safer. Do we need another repeat telecast of Fame Gurukul where the judges kept voting out a particular singer and the public voted him back again and again! I do not think SRGM should have resorted to this voting game... it should have stood firm for the way it was known - nurishing pure talent....

sorry to say but this show feels to be planned from early stages i mean dividing of gharana's just think again.. and you will agree with me

The situation is obvious.
If they wanted a pure singer who appealed purely to the ears:
they would have had learned judges on the show
they would have broadcast the whole thing on radio
they would never have had a performance round
they would not be taking the contestants to the gym
they would not be giving the contestants makeovers
they would not be choreographing the dance for the performances

CLEARLY, they do not want a pure singer, they want a 'people's all round star', hence:
they ask the people whom they want to keep!! AAP KI CHOICE, INDIA KI VOICE
they broadcast on teleVISION
they had a whole round dedicated to performance, plus thursdays performances
they took the contestants to the gym (Sharib talked about how it is important to look good too)
they gave the contestants makeovers, did photoshoots, dressed them up at high class boutiques
they made a point of showing the group learning dance steps
IT'S THAT SIMPLE!!

Have you people noticed from last few rounds Sa re ga ma pa mentors and special guest giving similar kind of comments .Its like bcame trend now just to use same words in round robin fashion .I am really bored of words like excellent , mind blowing , amazing ,great ..I mean these words are really good but if you use them everytime then you loose the charm of these words.

What I expect is they should give honest opinion I mean dont be harsh but do some analysis of singer .Even guys like me can use the words they are using but they know music far better than me and thats why I am looking for good comments .They should tell where singer went wrong or what he needs to do or what his strenght and where he lacks .

Yes, I agree with your observation with Himesh, he is expressionless when other participants sing, and he only smiles when Vineet sings , for others he is sititng like a dumbo. Even when Ujjaini and Paresh sing he has no expression on his face. He should show atlest little class of being a mentor and behave like a grown up.

The same kinda support I see from other mentors for Vinit now and above all the Junta is with him( surpirsingly they did appreciate a "Gem of Music" this time).

Ohk sum people won't like but I like Himesh ji very much. 😃. I am so glad he supports Vinit so much and takes care of him like a child. The compatibility between him and Vinit is so much tht many people think tht Himesh ji is overacting. 😭. Himesh ji wants to make Vinit famous and a good singer just like him and I am with him. 😃. Nowadays Himesh is gibing less points to the contestants who doesn't sing tht well. 😊. Now I think apart from Jatin Lalit who has left😭 Himesh is giving his true and homest marks which I am with him. 😃. I also like Ismail Darbar's gharana but the problem is tht he gibs too much marks to the people who sing average. 😊

Vinit is a good singer but still I dont agree with whatever Himesh does to pramote vinit ...arre you may have best singer but this is competetion between best ..Lets see what happens 😊

Himesh Reshamiya is doing all this stunts so people will vote only for Vinit. He has become very partial especially in agnipariksha rounds.

I wish to tell him that you are sitting there to recognise talent and not support a single person.
