LET's CHANGE THE VOTING SYSTEM..VOTE?

Friends,

After the rejection of Sharib I am really amazed and have my concerns about the present system of selection. The present system of selection is based on giving vote to the most favourite person which has the following flaws:

1.) Regional preferences are coming into play and people tend to vote for the person in his/her region. The votes are distributed if 2 persons are from nearby regions.

2.) Biases for asthetics, religion and personality are deviating people from providing their forthright decision

3.) Decisions are made on the last performace of a person and not on his overall performance in the competition. So, one mistake can cost a person his/her career

4.) Lot of politics, campaigning, gamblng, fake voting etc. has led to misleading results.

I very much doubt the authenticity of the resuts and don't want the tremendous efforts of organisers to go in vain. I think that if the exiting system be changed to voting for exclusion(selecting the worst in the group), we could minimize the biasness of people and make the event more pleasent. Also, the points of an individual be accumulated over the episodes to get the total points till date. This would take the overall performance of an individual rather than his/her last one.

Please let me know your opinion on this and lets raise this issue to reach the approprite place.
