i THINK u guys are missing the point.
the point is to keep public talking about the show, good or bad. some people watch it because its good, some watch it because they want to know what next screwup is going to be, some watch it because they love to hate it. if the most deserving candidate wins than what it the point of the reality challenge. that is one of the reasons they have put the voting in public's hands so that every bit of fake drama and stupid suspence they are creating (which one of the top singers will be out next, public is stupid, this region is voting more than that region, bla bla bla).
if they let the best judges and the mentors choose every week than they will not put their credibility on line and go with the artificial results that GANJA JI wants to put and putting in the show .that is why the theme is dont blame us, "blame the public" and keep talking about the show.
do u remember how Arijeet voted for Monica over Shamit? clearly staged and hype for the show. (kutch bhi ho sakta hai)
BUT THE POINT GANJA SINGH IS MISSING THAT SA RE GA MA HAS LONG BEEN SEEN BY PUBLIC WHO WANT GOOD MUSIC AND WHO UNDERSTAND AND APPRECIATE GOOD MUSIC.CHALLENGE OR NO CHALLENGE PUBLIC HAS SUPPORTED THE SHOW FOR A LONG TIME AND AS LONG AS THE GOOD QUALITY IS THERE. BUT THE SHOW IS LOOSING QUALITY AND CREDIBILITY.
ZEE is try to match the success of II AND FG but they are going in the wrong direction.
