Chandra can be a Bengali title, it's also Punjabi and rini is also a common Bengali name, but doesn't mean that other non-Bengali people don't use it.

Hey CPR, Just finished today's episode. your Basanti Di sorry Rini di is so cute and she sings so well. But you are from virginia and she is from Vancouver so I couldn't make the connection.

BTW I am from Manitoba and she is the only contestants from Canada, so she was going to be my fav even if you haven't mentioned abt her. But she will have tough competition from Mugdha.

Basanti-Rini is just breath of fresh air...I loved her long stories...Very cute and so candid with judges...I loved her interaction with judges...Hope she goes far in this contest...

Till she reach last 4 or 5 keeping out of forum may be good for her...Well, she sung well so did others too. Due to versatality of singers from Mumbai it is too early to say who reaches where...
