Nihira's superb voice always makes me increase the volume of my home theater to listen to her and her only when she is singing.

Nihira is the best. As ID said once, he is lucky to have Nihira in his Gharana. It just shows the problem with Public voting, if Nihira goes..!

I couldn't have said it better than classyhombre. I also totally agree with zeus. Nihira is the most deserving contestant-she always gives a consistent and powerful performance. She has such sweetness in her voice. I love her singing and I would love to see her win!

Please vote for Nihira, she is the best. ALL OTHER CANDIDATES ARE VERY GOOD, BUT NO ONE IS LIKE NIHIRA.
I ahve no idea why people are voting for Paresh & Rajeev. They dont deserve to go so far becuase there were some better singers.

that she is related to Nihira it might be her cosin or
her best friend so trhats why she sings good because shereya must have teach Nihira. 😊 shereya won from last saregama.she joined when she was a kid!

I tell you... I have seen most of the SRGMP mega finals (Popular Choice, Golden Voice Hunt ...) but no finalist/winner was any close to what Nihira is in terms of voice quality, voice maturity, versatility, flawlessness, riyaz.... I have said this previously on the forum that a newcomer like her comes once in 5-10 years. She rocks man! She, sure, will go places.

Why 5-10 years? It takes time even for an extremely talented newcomer to establish. It took nearly 10 years for Alka Yagnik to become an established singer since the time she sang "mere angane mein tumhara kya kam hai" for Lawaaris. It took nearly the same time for Kavitha to become an established singer since the time she was singing regularly on Mumbai doordarshan (in late 70s - early 80s)

Why Nihira only? Well as HR said in one of the episodes -- "Nihira is already in the league of Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreay Goshal. Other singers competing in C2005 with her is like 5th graders competing with a 10th grader". That says everything. She is way ahead of everyone else and is absolutely ready to go for film playback singing.

What about others? There have been many who won one or multiple SRGPM contests in the past -- Ronkini Gupta, Hrishikesh Ranade, Arpita Mukherjee, Rahul Saxena. Where are they today? Not every winner/finalist will become a lead singer because he/she may be the best in that lot but still not good enough. He/She may bag a song here and there but may not have the all the necessary ingredients for becoming a lead singer (like Sonu or Alka). I think most of the finalists are like the past winners who (the past winners) were just best in the lot. Nihira is the only one who has in her much much more than just the best in the lot.

PS: Please do not misread my post. I am not saying that the others are not good. They all are very good (toppers in 5th grade--to borrow HR's words) but Nihira is the best and is way ahead of others (topped in 5th grade long ago and is now about to top in 10th grade--again to borrow HR's words) That's it.

well you are absolutely right in saying the above. Look at Kunal Ganjawala who was a nobody when he participated in Saregama last.I dont think he won anything, but look at him now!!

Nihira is good and she will go places anyway. But if according to rules, she has the least votes, then well, she has to go from C2005.

Isnt it only fair??
