What is the aim of this show? To select good playback singers or rock stars?
If the answer is playback singing, then why is performance given so much of importance. I know some people will say that this is now a voting show so performance is necessary. But if that is the case, why do people buy tickets to see Lataji or Ashaji perform live. So I don't agree with this thory.
However, if the answer is rock stars then what are music directors doing there. You don't need music directors to create Sophies or Sanobers. It's just some singing and a lot of performance and the audience are thrilled. Where in the equation music directors come in?
Just my thoughts.
