PLEASE READ ALL MEMBERS!

Hello Members,

During the past few weeks, myself & sujalfan have received several PMs from members of the SAREGAMAPA section complaining about rude remarks made directly to them for expressing their opinion.

We all have our favourites in terms of mentors & contestants (even i myself have my favourites) but we have to know when to draw the line between ignoring what other people say about them (when we know they are wrong) & also accusing the person directly.

Over the past few weeks we have had several PMs from extremely distressed members about receiving personal attacks from members in this section.

I am requesting all members to think of these 4 questions before they post:

Will you be offending any member by posting this?
• Do you really want members to leave this section because of your post?

& lastly:

What would the mentors think if they read all our comments about them..would they be offended?
• What would the contestants think of the comments made about them...would they feel de-motivated?

I am requesting all members to please please please keep the above in mind when posting.

The reason sujalfan & myself have agreed to moderate this section is because of the friendly atmosphere, the music lovers we have & not to mention the gharana's! Let's Rock/Yalgaar ho/Dum/Jai ho!

Jem di u r absolutely right. Though I don't like sum contestants I don't say anything rude about them as they r good contestants. . jem di and Bhaskar bhaiyaa thanx for posting this. I think all member should read this. 😃

Don't worry if they don't heed then surely actions will be taken.

I agree i almost left the JJKN section cuz of wut ppl were sayin. I hated how they were trashin sum char nd unknowingly the actors. NEWAYZ ppl need to stop all that. I kno its hard i've been on both ends

Another suggestion Mods...

How about asking contributors not to put up topics that reveal the outcome/result of an elimination round. People outside India view the rounds about a week later.

Instead of "Sharib eliminated", it should be simple enough for the person posting to put up a "Spoiler" or "Warning results here". We were doing a pretty good job earlier but this problem seems to have surfaced again in the recent past.

Again, I personally dont have a problem knowing the results in advance but I do know a few people who liked to discuss the show but dont come here anymore just because of this reason...

hmmm guess for me it is the other way round cause the problem is we here in Hong Kong are always behind and it is to keep our curiosity at bay though i am still in shock at hearing that SHARIB is out one of the finest singers.

But yes I agree people should take this forum lightly a place to just discuss and express views simply rather than taking anything to heart and attacking people.

So my message to all out there just enjoy this site in a light hearted way. Thanks Gem.
