Rajeev's Performance

Hi Everyone

Do u think it was fair on the part of the mentors to not use the mentometer for him.If rajeev has dreams of winning then he must be a versatile singer..what is this funda of range not suiting him...I have always felt that the mentors have been very partial towards him.had there been some other singer would they have pardoned him the way they pardoned rajeev.

I didnt like Raktima's performance too.She was out of sur most of the time and the mentors were highly appreciative of her.does anyone feel that all this judgement from mentors has now come to a manipulative & partial stage???

I also think the same way that everyone is partial towards Rajeev.
Also in my personal opinion, Zee TV is more interested in promoting him so that the channel it self can take credit of "making" him.

I agree . Rajeev has reached the finals. No excuses should be entertained from henceforth. The participant shud be prepared and take extra care while selecting songs. You cant keep a contestant alive on the basis of his past performances. In thats case they shud have brought abhijeet back too. If rajeev cant sing on lower scale then that means he is not fit to be a playback singer.... I think the mentors shud not be allowed henceforth to vote or even comment on the performances. Becoz they are still biased with their contestants.

Having just subject knowledge does not help you top the exam. You still need to prepare yourself well. You need to study what kind of questions are asked and write down the answers well.

Having just a stunning looks does not help you get a crown in beauty pageant. Yout need to prepare youself well and walk on the ramp with grace.

Having just a god gifted voice does not help you win a singing competition. You need to prepare yourself well. Select the song that suits your voice, remember the lyric, make sure the range/scale is perfect for the song you selected......and deliver the song perfectly on the stage.

How many times do we have to say the same thing again and again ( and again and again and again !!!)

He was one of the 12 (finalists) singer of Indian Idol 1. He is currently in 10 ke 10 le gaye dil. Good voice but not trained or no knowledge how to sing in sur or taal.

is ravinder ravi the one who lives in a small town and is a painter? as you said he sings good but not trained.

you know..just the other day when i saw the first episode where AS was introducing his contestants i thought this is exactly like indian idol...but i didnt know the name of the guy from that show.........

Just wanted to share this.. last night after saregamapa episode was over they played some movie songs to fill in before the next programme started, and they were showing CHAIYAN CHAIYAN song from dil se. And it just struck me why in the name of god didnt Rajeev select that song. It is composed by A.R RAhman.Its on a high scale.

So that goes to show that either they are not using their brains or they simply dont want to make an effort and just win sympathy votes...But then on the flip side atleast we got to know
how versatile rajeev is . 😕

True - I think all the mentors have always been partial to Rajeev.. Are they also trying to do that because of Rajeev's background.. May be they want to take the credit of making a singer out of Rajeev!

He is just being given toooo many chances and other singers are suffering! This is so disgusting!

Yup. He is good with Punjabi songs. He has good voice & has great potential if gets training. Initially he could not even sing in the track or in sur. But you are right he is originally a painter from small town but I guess now he doesn't have to paint any longer.

i hope so too....he has come a long way.....

Rajeev could not sing chaiya chaiya from dil se because sharib already sang it . Just my opinion.
