OK, let's see the Brahmastra round voting (I saw the episode only today)

Sanchali- 6%
Aishwarya- 11%
Joyeeta- 13%
Dilshad- 18%
Ujjaini- 19%
Paresh- 30%

* Sanchali and Ujjani were close but Ujjani got 13% more votes
* Aishwarya and Paresh were very close but Paresh got 19% more votes
* Aishwarya certainly did much better than Dilshad but Dilshad got 7% more votes
* Sachali was far far better than Joyeeta but Joyeeta's tally was 7% more.

What does this indicate?

Except for Dilshad who probably got some sympathy votes, public predominantly went with appearance of the contestants than their singing skills.

While describing his contestants, ID said this about Twinkle -- jo dikhati hai who bikati hai. It is shame that this contest has stooped to this level.

So here are the C2005 winners ------

Mr. SA RE GA MA PA (modeling contest) -- Paresh (by huuuuge margin)
Miss SA RE GA MA PA (beauty pageant)-- Twinkle/Ujjani/Himani (close fight)

Hema/Debu, Nihira/Swananda, please pack your bags and come back to SRGMP C2006 with extreme make-over*. For jo dikhati NAHI hai woh bikati NAHI. And remember well that your singing talents alone has no place out here.

*extreme make-over -- term used for undergoing intensive medical treatment (plastic surgery and what not) to change your appearance dramatically (from ordinary to most beautiful)

its so sad to see talented singers voted out....
sanchali sings beautifully and better than joyeetha. but she got more votes than her. joyeetha with her lambhi kahanis got more votes 😕

aishwarya sang really well today and in last week's episode..but poor boy...

SRGMP is going downhill...if the voting is done like this..then just like salil said...all the talented singers have to pack bags...

even mentors are trying to use image of the contestant to get votes not the singing talent

hey guys one thing i didn't understand after watching saregamapa here in usa that why they were showing girls earrings, their lips . it was looking like they were contesting for some beauty pagent not for singing competition. specially twinkal. and why was id praising for her beauty more than her singing abilities. may be she is gonna use her good looking image to win the contest, and i think she will win becoz we have seen fame gurukul's results.

i totally agree with all of you......

i agree that nihira will win becoz she is liked by everybody . as for good looks , i guess nowadays looks is everything. i just hope that the best singer wins and not someone who is good looking coz lets face it . we r having a singing competition n not a modeling competition. 😡
becoz if paresh wins coz of his looks then his career will go down hill. and as for other competitors who r going to join sarega ma pa , they better get an extreme makeover done 🤢 .

Yes--the C2006 aspirants better start working on their extreme makeovers. And SRGMP should flash commercials of the "extreme make-over" specialists during the breaks so that the aspirants watching C2005 would know where to go.................😉
