It seems that many think that people will vote just on looks and so on. my view is at this At this point, the judges picked who they thought were good and the judges and who knows what truly was in their heads when they picked those to advanced. Aslo, its the public who is going to listen to the music. All of the people there will make it since they are getting recognition. Also, those of you who are impartial vote on the singing and those who vote on looks and so on well that is their opinion.

I mean many actors are judged on looks and not aways on their performance or acting. Anyhow the industry those who truly have the voice will last. However, I think all of these people have a voice to have made it on the show and that is why they now have let the people vote. Since they know that these people all are talented.

I am very happy that paresh is there and go man!

See what I feel is at this stage all the contestants are very good. It would have been almost impossible to choose the best 2 among these. So they have decided that let the janta decide who they would like to see on stage performing.

Hey, I think actors provide the face to a performance so they do need to be a little apealing for the characters they play.. so going for their looks to an extent is okay but again they need to perform.. but for singers, they provide voice to the performance.. so where is the looks factor coming in? Again, we come back 2 the same question whether SRGMP wants to create playback singers or pop-stars! I think, all along there was focus was on creating playback singers! All the aspiring pop-stars can go to FG and II!!

I think its not fair to leave it for the audience to choose the best in Agnipariksha round. If you look at the history of public voting in such shows (FG, II), looks is the only criteria most of the people go for. I really feel sorry for the SRGMP show. They are doing this just to gain popularity. The purpose of the show has completely taken the back seat now.
I think, good singers like Swananda, Nihira may get eliminated earlier than Twinkle, Ujjaini & Himani, if public poll is to decide the fate of the singers. In the boys too, Paresh may continue his dream run to reach top 3!
It would have been nicer, had they formed a panel of judges & jury to decide winners (anyone remember Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj?)

I recall that, in one episode, Alka Yagnik said that they were basing their judgement on the basis of playback singing. Jagjit Singh Ji then corrected her and said 'general singing'.. Alka Yagnik agreed!!

So for those of you who have made up their own judging criteria for the competition, learn something from Jagjitji!! Stop being so darn pompous and assuming!

Get you facts straight!

I think all of us have out facts straight here that we want to get the best singers to win in this competition, whether they are our favourites or not..

And yes, 'general' or 'playback' the show is still about 'singing' and that is what it should be about!
