Please do not use this topic to put down any singer. This topic is for healthy discussion.😊

Now that Zee is starting the new Musical contest where alot of repeat singers are gonna come back but will be divided according to states....some of our favourite singers may be divided up. I am sure people vote/support the best singer based on the contestant's talent....but apart from that....Will anyone vote/support contestants because he/she belongs to the same state?

Any of your favourites divided up in different states?

so according to the article posted by India Forums...these are the 8 states.

Rajasthan, Maharasthra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Assam, Kolkata and Punjab".

The contestants taking part in the show will represent the state they belong to.

"Rajasthan will have Raja Hassan and Priyanka Malya, while the third contestant is yet to be finalized", informs our source.

"Maharashtra team will have Vaishali Made, Rohit Shyam Rao and Kaushik Deshpande.

Uttar Pradesh will have while Poonam Yadav, Twinkle Bajpai and Yatharth Ratnum .

Madhya Pradesh will have Sumedha Karmahe, Aamir Hafiz, Pratibha Singh Badhel.

Gujarat will have famous singer who has sung for Saawariyan Parthiv Goel, Deepali Somayiah, Prachee Shah .

Assam will have Anamika Choudhury, Joy Chakraborthy and Abhigyan Das.

Kolkata will see the likes of Sanchita Bhattacharya, Ujjaini Mukherjee and Abhijeet Ghoshal.

Punjab will be represented by Rohanpreet Singh, Tarun Sagar and Mitika Kanwar",

Looking forward to this contest. Hopefully we will get to listen some really good songs. All teams are quite strong in terms of singing abilities. Gujarat, MP, Rajasthan etc are all quite strong.

However Assam seems to be a bit weak. This is the only team which has two juniors(Anamika barely 14 years and Abhigyan barely 13 years). The captain Joy is also quite ordinary. It will be really tough for them to move into semifinals.

From the probable panel of judges, it seems that this contest will either be judges only, or 50% judges and 50% votes.

My vote can not be divide because I dont vote but just support. And my team is Rajasthan & Madhya Pradesh then UP then Maharashtra. Is goonda Tarun ko captain kyun bana dia, isse much better Harpreet hota.

As I am Gujarati speaking Maharashtrian I will support those 2...😳

On a serious note Parthiv, Vaishali, Raja, are strong contenders...

While Joy, Tarun, Twinkle would be weaker of the lot....

I support true talent so we will see how this goes...Although looking forward to some of my long time favs performances...

I support Parthiv Gohil(amazin singer), Raja and priyanka, Pratibha and Sumedha, Abhigyan and Anamika, even Kaushik Deshpande is a very good singer, Mitika, aamir hafiz, rohit shyam rao...

Not very fond of Twinckle, Tarun, joy and I don't think the Bengal team is all that strong...

If Yatharth wins it will be interesting to see Yatharth vs. Anamika vs. sanchita(the 3 little champ winners)

Well my point is that this show is really not about singing talent alone, as these are all trained singers, and some have already done playback singing and there is no point of just focusing on their talent alone.

I think the contest is about popularity, and which group can put on the best show, so that people from their state vote heavily for them.
This is a reality show guys, not a talent show.

So yes there is probably one person from every team that I like, but at heart I would still support my Punjab ki team. Though i'm not a fan of Tarun or Mitika at all, but I like Rohanpreet. So I want them to do well and move forward in the contest.

But that also doesn't mean I will not appreciate the singing of others, I would love to hear, Raja, Poonam, Sumedha, Yatharth and all the others.
