SAREGAMAPA:Final Contestants

We know that the final ten contestants have been choosen and other two are also on their way.This topic is for a detailed discussion over thes choosen contestants.

The finalists:

1)Name : Rajeev Kumar
Age : 29
Location : Champa (H.P)

We already remember rajivs performance before the judges in one of the earlier rounds. He forgot the lyrics and thus was out in the course. He came back through public voting and was reelected. From the starting his voice was loved by the mentors and now he has reached the final stage of the competition.Although he dosent have incredible control over sur he does is a force to recon. If he does get a good control over sur he will be a lovely singer. In my eyes he still is one of best in the competition.Aadesh has even made rajeev sing a small part in one of the movies.I do hope he goes to far in competition.

2)Name : Himani Kapoor
Age : 17
Location : Faridabad

The seventeen year old himani,a student of class twelve is one of the finalists of Challenge 2005 and can be a tough competitor in the female side

3)Name : Hemachandra
Age : 17
Location : Hyderabad

A strong contender in the competition from the male side,he showed great singing qualities and although he is pointed out for things like diction problems and all he still has a lot of control over sur. One of the most sincear as pointed out by Aadesh, Hemachandra can reach heights in the competition.

4)Name : Raktima Mukherjee Location :Kolkatta Age:25 yrs OUT

Some may call her stand still singer with no expresions or performance.She still can be dangerous for others. Coming so far to the competition she wont want to look back now.Childish some may say when it is to talking but can sing well when singing is required.

5)Name : Swananda Karmarkar &am p;nb sp; OUT
Age : 21
Location : London

Who said house wifes cannot sing meet Swananda. Many find her voice great and even not weak in sur. She is no ordinary contestant who could not be a force in the competition.She has that power in her to sing well.

6)Name:Sharib Sabri
Age:17
Location:Jaipur

Another good singer from the male side and with a small age. He can suprise you with great singing and has managed to reach so far in the competition.He can be a force in the competition.

7)Name:Twinkle Bajpai
Age : 20
Location : Lucknow U.P.

A strong contender in the females twinkle can reach heights in the competition.She does sing well and with contenders like her in the competition judging would be hard.

8)Name : Nihira
Age : 17
Location : Mumbai

Some may find her confident and some overconfident. One things for sure she does has great singing power. With good control over sur she can be a force to recon.

9)Name : Debojit Saha
Age : 29
Location : Silchar (Assam)

He is singer from the male side who has reached the finals and can also sing well. although he might not be that great like others in terms of sur but he shouldnt be underestimated.he also can go more far in the competition.

11)Name: Ujjaini Mukherjee
Age: 17 years
Location: Kolkata

With the potential to win the finals Ujjaini is a strong contender in the females.A lovely participant who is not much of age but can sing realy well. She definately will be a force to recon.

12)Name: Paresh Madhapara Age: 25
Location: London

The man from UK Paresh, is a great performer and good singer too.He may not have great control over sur but still sings well.

All the above details and descriptions about the contestants are what i thought of and have no intention of under or over valuing any contestants abilities.
