Hi friends,

I'm new here!

Did any know that SaReGaMaPa L'il Champs contestant Priyanka Maliya, who got eliminated today, is married? That's why people from her hometown and her family were against her participation.

I got this information from a Rajasthani friend who knows her uncle.

Poor girl! She is only 13. Sad, isn't it?

Is this the reason of her sudden dismissal then ????😕.....it very well could be ..but I don't think channel was unaware of it ....They just wanted to make a story out of her but now probably the truth is out ..hence the axe has fallen on her ....

If this is true ..a big shocking truth that is 😲..looking at the village and the way men were talking ..the whole look reminded me of a movie set up in 70's or even earlier ..I am not surprised ....

Poor girl ...

Well in villages they still practise child marriages I think, which are more like an engagement at birth. But this practice should slowly stop as literacy rates in these places increase. anyway talking of her singing I still like her.

Hope her personal affairs can be sorted out. But this is quite a nightmare for the young kids.

If there is a huge age gap between the partners it will be a big problem. If personalities do not match it will be another problem.

Yes, it is unfortunate and it is true.

Even in today's episode, when people from her hometown were being shown, you might have noticed one woman say, "Gauna nahin karenge". I'm sure, you all are aware of the gauna ceremony. And of course, the channel was aware, but since child marriage is illegal, they kept it a secret.

OMG i felt really sad today to watch her elimination.. she do have problems with the lower notes and take it to up... which they already identified and could not rectified...

i am too shocked to know that she is a balika vadhu.. i was even looking for the meaning of gauna ceremony.. and this is what i found..

An elaborate religious ceremony marks the martial bond. The consummation of marriage(gauna), however takes place usually within one or two years of marriage. Before a marriage has been consummated the bride statys at her natal home.

Hope everything will work out for her..
