SRGM used to - when the "pa" was missing. Then they added the "pa" which I now understand stands for "paisa, paisa, and paisa". 😆

Exactly😃 'PA' was added to bring into being a new series of saregama which is not the same as old saregama. Its a new series, with the additional dose of TRPS-money making strategies n it was created to compete with indian idol.

Saregamapa started in 2005 when second season of Indian idol was on. Little champs follows the same format

Its different from the previous saregama because viewers are now selected on public votes

So Debojit,Aneek,Vaishali,Sanchita n Anamika are saregamaPA winners and not saregama. Hence they are to be differentiated from previous winners like Bela, Sanjeevani,Shreya, Kunal,Amey date n Neha Rajpal.😳

Rohit was good in LC2 and got out too early IMO...sad to hear that the same thing happened to him in the Marathi version

about coming back....I doubt he can come back in LC...maybe he can come back in a challenge series when he gets older

About Abhrokanti...yes he participated in SRGMP kids series not too long before they changed the format.

About "pa" for "paisa"....lol, nice joke but the truth is that they added the pa a few years before they actually got corrupt. 😆 When the show started again after a long gap with Shaan as the new host then it was already called SRGMP.

They had this whole thing in 2005 about converting it into a reality show after seeing the superhit Indian Idol first season though. That's how "SRGMP Challenge" started, and it actually was a very big hit. II2 started when C05 was half way through and totally flopped.😆 Since then SRGMP has always done better than II but still the charm it had before is lost!

OK so we are talking about saregamapa CHALLENGE here. i get it.I think indian idol 1 and 3 were the ones which were actually superhits, n the second n fourth season flopped😆

whereas in saregama I think challneg 2005 n 2007 were well received but 2009 was lukewarm😕

Anyway the winnners of saregama are always better than those of Indian idol

His name is Rohit Shyam Raut.........even though he didn't win Marathi LC,he was a finalist.

When the competition started he wasn't one of the best ( believe me there were such talented kids in the competition),but his growth was really fantastic ......

there were 5 kids in the final........the girl who won ultimately wasn't a bad singer,she wasn't versatile...
