Shalini was the worst singer in many weeks and yet survived and got the most hypes along with the big makeup kit from Alka!! When the judges are following the Zee script to hype her, how can we blame the kid for it... I hope she will have some innocence left in her after all this ends and would not turn out to be an overconfident kid who gets nowhere...

There was an article on Zee's LC site where they said that some parent offered any amount of money to see his child in top 12 - they say they didnt yield for it, but what if that child is Shalini??!!! Just a hunch!! Zee can publish the article like that to show they are saints, and at the same time keep the child and take the money!

as we discussed before, there is no control of them on song selection. last week, somebody mentioned who gives them the songs etc in another discussion thread. anyway, give her a break!!!

I liked her in first song or two. then it becomes same same and same. same dialogues from the judges "jo son dudh, dahi kha leti hai woh antara" etc etc.....script writers please change the dialogues....

Shalini's elimaion was way due long back....this is not about just "this week"............how do u justify Farha and Yoshodhan's elimination and not hers???????????? Alka yagnik clear suggested her to choose song her her own genres this week.........that WAS a clear indication of her lack of versetality. As comepetion is getting tougher so she should be more careful in choosing her songs!!!

On the other hadn look at Swarit............how old do you think he is???? Starting from his first day he has been singing songs that are from sixtees......... from Aye mere zohra azbi se to main aisa bhi hoon...........I wonder how much passion and dedicaton towards music you have to have to sing songs of this ranges....

You are right......How can we blame the kid for it?

Can we not blame her mother for it?????? She sits there with a smile on her face like she is enjoying every second of it......If EVERYTHING is scriped from Zee.....then she should have said something by now to zee saying Not To Project her daughter like that??? She allowed them to present a make up kit to a 8yrs old girl???? Forget about the make up....let's pretend that it was just a gift.............then how did other kids do???????? How come they never got any kinds of present from the judges?????????? How Shalini is so special that yu give present only to her in front of the other kids???????? Come on they are just kids......one chocolate would have made them real happy............And her mom sits thru the whole drama and watch it smirky smile on her face??

I agree about her being horrible this week like every other week previous but what really bothered me about this week's elimination is the fact that Hemant got the harshest reaction from the judges. Dont sit there as a judge and say "how can i judge this song if i dont like it, there's nothing special in the song" okay perhaps there isnt, perhaps you dont like the song/singer but you are not judging the "original song" here as a judge, that is not your job. Your job is to judge how the little kid infront of you sang it. I expected that reaction out of Abhijeet but not from Alka and was highly disappointed she joined the Abhijeet bandwagon to talk about it in a similar manner.

Shalini get on my nerves too... too irritating facial reaction, attitute and no varity..

But Hemant is more irriating..

forcing people to say some religious stuff (horible that kyuki mai mathura se .. (so what i do?).. jiwa shudh (what nonsesne of that jiwa sudh).. nasal singing.. no glamour.. no melody.. the guy had nothing but irritation..

I am so relived he is gone.. Now it is turn for Shalini and then the headache will be less

shalini is a cutie pie.. she sings so nicely.. cant the adult take a 8 year old... acting smart?... and the posts above show women jealous about her..... cant believe it....!!!!!!

I mean, yes, he would have gone anyway. But I agree, they eliminated him for the wrong reasons just as they did with Yashodhan. I mean, how many weeks can they pull the whole song choice crap. And the second I saw who the singer of the song was, I knew Hemant would not get good remarks from Abhijeet. Of course, all of them follow the opinions of the others and don't think for themselves...so Abhijeet says he doesn't like it, and then the rest of them don't either. I think the only way Shalini will be eliminated is if she sings "Pehli Nazar Mein" I find it ironic that Abhijeet bashes the kids for overconfidence, yet his head is so big that he can bash other singers and the kids because he thinks he's better.

First, they haven't heard of the song. Then, Hemant sung it okay, but they didn't like the song (that is most definitely what they said). What's the excuse next week? The drums were too loud so they couldn't hear the song? How much stupider can they get?
