I remember the shock on Sonu's and Sureshji's faces when Rohit's name was announced! That boy had an attitude, I agree, but he was a real talented one! He even helped Aamir to perform better on stage by creating some presence rather than standing still...

The worst thing is that during the three elimination rounds so far, Shalini had sung worse than the eliminated contestant each time/week!!! I really think that girl has some speech issues so they dont ask her questions that she has to answer in words rather than nodding her head...

Hmm....yea, i think Shalini's got speech issues too....kinda like lisping....or maybe coz Hindi's not her native language. Her pronunciation of the words while singing aren't clear enough so, i can't help but notice it too.

Thats why I always say, if it was a show for pure singing and talent, it would be an audio show. Unfortunately, on television - cuteness, spunk, comic relief or drama tend to overrun the importance of real talent.

That was not the case in early days of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.............true singing talent always won, eventhough it was on television, the show was very pure !!!

Only difference was that it was not a reality show -

honestly, if performance and all of that is so important, than why doesn't everyone watch shows like dance india dance. and if they want appearance, then just watch miss india/universe. comic relief, watch rakhi sawant or great indian laughter challenge. you want REAL drama? and not the stuff that's on the tv shwos...fine, that's when it's acceptable to watch himesh. but i still stand by that a singing show should still primarily be about singing

Yes it would be nice to see some serious singing for once; anyway I was never a fan of DID as I did not quite like the dancing; But I did like Abhishek dancing in the earlier programmes; but the judges Ahmed and Abhijeet were a disaster.
