I think this is an overstatement. All of them are very good, making for a strong field, but none is superb. Of the lot, Abhigyan probably has the closest to a pure singing voice, but clearly the others were selected for the distinctive quality of their voices, so they lose nothing.

Nevertheless, I think Swarit's selection was a mistake. Despite his obvious talent, he has no realistic chance. He is too young, regardless of whether they script him into another Tanmay. It's a shame. Had he been groomed for the next season, he would have been an awesome contender, rather than a sacrificial lamb to the TRP gods..

Oh, I love Yatharth - his Soniyo and Kaise Mujhe were fantabulous. He needs to work a little on his low notes though, and make sure his voice doesn't get shrieky at some points.

He is fantastic. I realy didn't notice any guy through out the audition rounds except him. Maybe because of his yodeling. I was shocked. I hope he continues to do well. On these reality shows it's hard to say what will happen. Some kids start out strong then get weaker as show progresses. Others start out weak but get stronger with time.

yes it is difficult to yodel in high pitch.. yodelling is shift from low to very high falsetto or somethin like that.. simple in the md and lower octaves, but tough in the high scale...

I made it as a statement in comparison to previous seasons. All the active members on this forum would have guessed it, but nevertheless that is what I meant, and not that they are the superb singers in the nation or in the world. Of all the seasons so far in LC as well as SRGMP, the LC3 season came up with a pack of very good contestants to start with. Maybe their flaws will appear as weeks go by, but for the start of the show, they were all good. 😊

Yes some will start to crack or lose interest. especially having finished singing all the songs they are good at. I remember Smita came in very strong last season and suddenly nose dived.

Exactly! And the same happened to a bunch of others too in all the seasons so far... Now seeing it happening to Shalini on LC3 already!
