Sorry, if it seems like I'm spamming. Anyway, in the ultimate debate between the two, I'm siding with the Contestants. Okay, so so far, a lot of people having been saying that the contestants should have to put up with the crap that judges throw at them. (ex: Abhijeet being a douchhe and making fun of the children), but in their defense, a lot of them come from poor families and actually have no idea what the competition will actually be like. They just see it as an opportunity for their family and go after it. So they are not wrong in coming or feeling bad, or even us for feeling bad for them.

Anyway, if the contestants apparantly know what they're getting into, since it's a competition and all...what about the judges? The judges are the ones who sign the contract for the show, so shouldn't THEY know that they are going to have to audition millions of kids, many of which ARE besura? So shouldn't they know better than to make fun of them or getting angry at them? After all, they did know. And on top of that, they have been on TV plenty of times and should by now know what proper TV ettiquette is...especially when they've judged before?

I just don't understand why people say the contestants should know better than to act the way the do when they judges don't themselves.

Here's the deal - you're putting WAY too much thought into this. Had the creators of the show put half the amount of thought that you put into the intentions behind the show, there'd be no need for such discussions. If there's one thing that these channels care about its TRP. Once Lara Dutta said that only two things sell in Bollywood, s*x and Shahrukh Khan. Today I say that only two things sell in the television industry - Karan Singh Grover and rude judges that bash idiotic contestants.

And as long as we as the biggest idiots are watching, and contestants as even bigger idiots are auditoning, and the judges, perhaps the biggest idiots are getting paid -the show will go on.

Sure I can, except that Anshu would issue a straight one-way plane ticket from IF to Antarctica for me. 😆
Now which issue is it exactly that you would like me to expand on? SRK or KSG? 😉😆

When I saw the title, I thought it was the concept of a new dramatic reality show in the future. The channels should take note of this.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it was Lara Dutta - when she first entered the industry.

Over-analyzing...bit of a habit of mine, sorry. But it just bothers me that people say that the contestants should have to deal with all of it, because it's expected. While, yes, the channel doesn't put that much thought into anything except for TRP meanwhile these people become their victims and no one has sympathy, because it is to be expected. But honestly, shouldn't it be expected from both ends?
