😆 yeah.

This is one of my pet peeves --- pronouncing "za" as "ja" gets me...don't know why😆

i pronounce it alright but have often done the mistake of writing za as ja or phir as fir😆

Shukar "gujaarish" naheen likha😆

I can see where you are coming from in writing vs. speaking. I never say "shukar" when speaking but if I write "shukre", it doesn't gel somehow😆

My girls --- they would get away with pronouncing "ra" as "la" when they were itty bitty babies but even then, I would not let them get away with ja for za😆 I was totally okay with dalwaza as long as it was not darwaja😆 No doubt, they both stick to calling it a "door" these days.

i have just stuffed my face with Shipley's donuts that I bought on my way back home this morning, forgetting that the donuts will go down to my thighs, just like all the other things I love. *sigh* ---- but Shipley Donut's motto is Make Life Delicious - and I'm going to steal that motto and make it mine from now on. 😆\

btw, my 80+ yr. old maasi - poor thing...the phone company downloaded some very non-veg song. when her cell phone rings, she hears the ring but the caller heras this lame song😆 she had no clue about it till my mom called her a month ago😆 she said - didi, kam sey kam koi bhajan hee laga leteen. yeh kya gana laga rakha hai😆 my poor maasi was so embarrassed when she heard the song😆 what made her mor embarrassed is that my mausa ji passed away in March and so many folks called her to express their condolences. They all got to hear that song😆
