Today is the second and the final day of chakraviuh. Two of the participants will be eliminated (surprise!) and four of them will advance to agnipariksha where they will compete with the other finalists.

The episode began with a fabulous performance by HR. I could not believe that he was actually singing and it was not lip sync but HE WAS SINGING! He sang his latest song Aashiq banaya- superb performance. He was complimented for his singing as well as composition by all the mentors.
Now the competition….
Irfan- He chose on of the most popular composition of HR- tere naam ……good rendition but somehow I always feel that he lacks the energy…….it was a sad song and hence suited his style…slipped a little bit on sur but otherwise a steady performance. But I was not impressed – a very lackluster performance. But I think ID made him focus on the expression bit as Sanu favoured rajiv because of this.
The mentors were all praise for him – said that he was able to create the mood of the song.
Keka- I don't remember the song but she sang quite well………as always good expression, good energy, good voice quality – but slipped in few places. But her good throw makes it a pleasure to listen to her.
The mentors were again happy with her performance.
Debojit- Another very popular composition of Himesh was chosen – bhool na jana…from Humraaz. A clever move by ismail (song is sung by Sanu) and debojit did not disappoint. Good performance, his voice quality is very good, copied the huskiness of Sanu very well, put in lot of expression but somehow I thought he lacked the energy (I know debojit fans are going to kill me but……….) Anyway a very good performance.
The mentors said that debojit was very good and ID said that the biggest thing was that the composer and the singer of the song are both here.
Himani- Himani who was not well yesterday came back today and had only small time to practice her song. HR helped her in that and HR said that the judges should not go by the lyrics of the song but decide on her singing. So what song did she select??? "I want to make love to you…dhuaun dhuan pyar ka" ….a song which suits her style and though she did not have so much energy as she usually has- she was good. Her singing is very smooth and her expressions very good. She uses her voice very well and her performance was very good today as well.
The mentors felt that considering the fact that she had very little time to prepare the song, she did very well. She is a very strong candidate for the final. HR said that her voice will suit any contemporary actress.
Sharib- He chose the song sung by himesh in the beginning of the show….aashiq banaya. And I was surprised- he was very good……..added a little bit of his own and was very effective, completely got into the mood of the song and I really did not expect such a performance from the guy. Superb rendition.
The mentors were obviously very impressed with him and said that he was very good.
Raktima- The actual "sweet sweet" participant from AS gharana is a very mild girl and she chose a song suiting her style "odhani odh ke aaj from tere naam". Good singing, very clear voice but somehow I find her a little nasal. Slipped a little bit on the sur but overall again a controlled performance- no flamboyance but steady.
The mentors (especially JL) felt that she had a khanak in her voice and was crystal clear with good pronounciation. All the mentors were happy with her performance.
Now the judgement.
The girls first- All the three girls were called to the stage- Himani was given the green card because of her very good performance. The judges were a little confused with the other two as they felt both were very good. They asked AS to help as he has been their mentor and might know. Jatin interrupted saying that it will not be fair as all students are equal to teachers. Anandji asked HR as he was the composer of the song but HR said he has taught all of them and hence their teacher in a way and will not like to choose. Finally, the judges chose Raktima. So keka was shown the red card which she took very sportingly.
Among the boys, the judges said that Sharib was the clear winner and they did not even think twice in showing him the green card. Among the other two- Debojit gets the……………suspense???????? Green card and Irfan has to leave. Irfan again is very gracious in defeat and says that the audience is watching him (the mentors found it very funny as he is always quiet).
Anyway so the final line (two to come from wild entry- brahmashtra)-
