regarding last statement,
you are openly saying that you approve your country to allow something you deem as unethical.
Wow !
Or is it because of public pressure >? huh ? lol
No, not public pressure at all, public can't pressurize me into doing anything. Its the other way around. 😆 The reason for that inconsistency is that the US is a democracy and the constitution vows to treat everyone equally and give them the same rights. My thoughts on gayism are purely based on nature and religion. The US government differentiates a separate church and state. Therefore, the government has no argument to give these people their rights. Presently, all those who disagree with it, do it because it goes against their faith ... however, Christianity (being the most popular religion in the US) cannot be responsible for outlawing gay rights. Having said that, will I approve of gay marriages even if they are permissible? No, I will not. But laws don't define ethics.
Secondly,
why do you think that this issue of homosexuality will never go away.
It is indeed going away,
and there are various proofs of the fact that the world is becoming liberal and is accepting "gayism" !
I am not expecting you to approve it,
but am quite sure that your next generation might approve it LOL
Why the next generation? Let our generation make it permissible. But just because the law allows it, doesn't make it socially acceptable, you have to remember that. You think if the US allows gay marriages in all 50 states, that people will suddenly become more accepting throughout the world? Absolutely not. Therefore, the issue of homosexuality will not go away -- people will always disagree. Accepting gayism is a minority presently, and even if it does become the majority opinion, the minority will still disagree. And strength is not found in numbers, but rather in ideas. Anyways, as I said before, I'm not stopping Adam and Steve from doing what they want to do, but if Adam comes to me and asks me if he should go through with the marriage, I'll give him a stern 'no!', and no law can stop me from doing that. 😉
