Yashita....

Nobody can snatch the "worst finalist title from Yashita, which was very evident from semiclassical/ghazal episodes. She is the least versatlie, and can only sing one genre of songs. I don't think she has had any formal classical training. Yashita's mom talks a lot about her struggle etc. But, her struggle was nothing compared to Vaishali's. Then, how did Vaishali receive so much of formal training, really hats off to her....

Well, I can understand why these stupid music directors like Pritam support Yashita. If Shaan can become a successful Bollywood singer, anyone on earth can. Yashita is at least better than Shaan......

Nowadays, with the level/quality of Bollywood music (excluding Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Rahman), even a bathroom singer can be a hit....

I really hope and pray that Vaishali wins, the most deserving candidate.

Debo Dutta was a shade better. But Somen has some good songs too.

Soumen Nandi singing "Saiyyan" . He has a very easy and appealing style. Lovely Kailash Kher number.

Yashita. They are giving her too much hype and I don't think she is a good singer at all. She can only sing one type of songs and that is item numbers. Either Vaishali or Soumen deserve to be winners. Yashita shouldn't even have come in the top 3. In fact Pratibha was much better than Yashita.

I know we should not talk anything personal about any contestant here on the forum. But, don't you think the kind of songs Yashita sings, she is a suitable playback for Rakhi Sawant, Koena Mitra, Kashmira Shah to name only a few, what you call them "the item girls".......So, I wonder, who has the cheaper voice quality????

I beg to differ. I have watched Shaan's live concert, and he was really bad... I have also watched Shreya Ghosal and Abhijit's live concerts and they were superb...

I completely agree with you, Pratibha was a fantastic singer and should have been the winner of Ch 09....

Shaan is a very good singer and generally most people like his singing. But all have their own personal preferences. Yashita and Soumen still have to polish up a bit more. But yes they are pretty good.

At this stage they cannot be compared to Shaan.
