This discussion was already going on ESBE CPBD forum and I had posted my views there yesterday. So I am copy pasting them here.

I couldnt believe a well-known respected person like AK would behave like that not only in front of national TV cameras but also in front of all those little kids and their parents!! So disgraceful. I didnt see anything wrong with what KK had said - this is a competition and the judgment should be fair to all participants. It's like giving extra marks in an exam to a student who has good handwriting despite having spelling, grammar and content errors.

Just because AK had an outburst drama as a patriot, it doesnt prove him to be one. KK's points were never against the nation, but against the reasoning of AK to give extra points to Tanmay. As a co-judge, KK said that he doesnt agree to give an extra point for the song. Well, AK should have respected his opinion and let it go. If AK wanted to give an extra point, fine, he should have just done that by keeping quiet. But instead, he started arguing and shouting at KK - that is where the ethics dont appear to be right.

Song selection matters only when someone selects one of the hardest to sing song and yet made a reasonably well performance despite the toughness. Not based on the song being a patriotic one! Sorry to say this, but KK was right in his judgment. If one is given extra marks for a patriotic song, it will affect the confidence of other kids in the competition.

Patriotism should be shown by staying with the truth/right, and not covering it up with cheap excuses. Just because someone creates a scene in the name of patriotism, I find it hard to buy it as one. I have seen enough people in my life who talks all cherry in front of others but do not give a damn in their heart. At the same time, there are people like KK who will stand up for what's right and would be a strong patriot in heart too but doesnt want to make a show out of it. I respect KK as he stood up for what's fair in the competition so that it wont make the other kids feel low.

What AK showed on TV is not going to make any changes in our nation. The government and the officials have to first decide to protect their country and be loyal to one's nation at any costs and not to fall for the big bucks that are shown to them by the traitors.

Annu Kapoor is paid lakhs per show to judge this kids' show .....He should have known hurling abusive language and insulting a co judge doesn't teach patriotism but violence to the kids .....I am sure Annu patriotism ki bade bade batein kar rahe hai lekin outside Kunal is more patriotic than him....

Annuji needs an anger management course and should be ousted from this show ....he is in no condition to judge the kids ....Moreoever how difficult it will be for Kunal to judge the show along with Annuji in future ..as per contract I don't think he can back out ....this is ridiculous ...

bechare Tanmay and Khushi became the scapegoats...they had to pay steep price ...... after performing beautifully, due to marks discrepancy , they had to go 😭( judges didn't give any marks to khushi so there total was 30/60 which could have been 60/60 ) .....this is sooo unfair ....

The only humor I found in this whole episode which kept my sanity intact ........do u know what that is??????...

In all these hooplas Rakhi ki bolti bandh ho gayee...now when do u get to see that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry ..I meant judges didn't give any marks to Tanmay ....it was Tanmay's song which created so muchh halla....

😆..ya ..did u watch her ???..normally she is the one who talks ..yaps ....but here she is like ...what the heck is going on ???..aur bolti bilkul bandh 😲....whenever I think of that I just burst out laughing.....

Yeah, it was good, but coulda been better. There was no gali galoch, no catching hold of the collar, no wrestling the other guy to the floor. 😆

If not, they gotta grow up sometime, be a more mature audience, learn to take these things in stride, that's what.😛
