Salman did one very good thing in this show. He asked asma that you sing very well in hindi and yet you cant speak it. Asma got rattled, He then asked her to sing in Arabic. His higness thinks that Salman thought that asma is acting therefore he brought up this point.

It was King himself who first brought up this issue that all her drama is scripted and in fact she ikows hindi very well and his higness i sure that there are not many arabs with name of rafi.

Dabbo is terrible as usual and his lisps, his poetry are getting unbearable.

king is well aware of names but it is highly unlikely that her father (who is there all time and who looks like a south asian) is an arabic rafi. he looks like someone from this region who went to middle east to work and maybe married to arab lady. her uncle was also quite desi looking

Anuji, he doesnt look South Asian (means Indian), rather looks more like an Iranian or Saudi Arabian. Her uncle also looked more Arabian than a Desi - btw, is it her paternal uncle or maternal uncle? Most of the muslim names in India are Arabic names, the same way Christian names are European and/or Semitic. Though I agree with you that she might have some Afghan connection, but not Desi though.
