He must have done a thesis on the music of Rafi.
But that does not explain his obsession.
so he must be a reincarnation of a great Rafi Admirer.
This can be discovered under hypnosis.😆

vidya ji nice to see u here! 😊

anyway, to answer dabull's question:

I was born in 1990 and i enjoyed many 90's melodies like bombay, kuch kuch, sarfarosh, hum dil de, ghulam, raja hindustani, baazigar, duplicate, hum aapke hain kaun, jo jeeta wohi sikandar, 1942 a love story, ddlj, border, dil se and raja..

but in the 2000 era , i seriously started to dislike the stuff that was being made like gadar, i c u, even taal made me sick of rehman , even khabhi khushi khabhi gham, devdas, etc oh sure, there was main hoon na, jaadu hai nasha hai, om shanti om,metro but it just wasn't enuff..
anyway, when abeer sang pukarta chala hoon main on ustaadi loved the song and u tubed it (summer knows this) and that was the first.. i never looked back.. i even started to enjoy the 60's movies and the 70's etc... raif's soul, identity, voice quality, sur, taal, expressions, godliness and versatility appealed to me.. so did kishore da, but rafi saahab remains my fav.

and thats why i know so much abt them..

Wow, this is truly the height of diligency👏. And yes Rafi saab's appeal is such that u just get lost in his songs. One of my favorite songs of Rafi is Suhaani Raat Dhal Chuki, Na jaane tum kab aaogi, and this is just one. There are countless and countless number of songs. Anyways, don't neglect your studies, Rafi saab ke songs ke chakkar mein, okay?😊
