Mitika's rendition of the song "kaisa lagta hai?" , asha - kishore famous duet was not upto the mark!! Still she got such great comments and scores from the judges!! It wasnt a bad attempt but it didt evoke that romantic feeling at all! Also she was a bit slower than the original song. What do you think guys???

I would really like to know other opinions. I was very surprised when all the judges praised her profoundly for the song although it wasnt good enough.

no, I felt it was fab. don't compare with legends. no one (including shreya and alka) can sing any songs of lata and asha as good as them. Even sonu was not great in london concert iif you compare with the original singers.

the competition is not about how accurately the singers can copy the legends, its about how well they can sing a song. Mitika's version though it fades out in comparison to the original (for that matter no version song can match any lata-kishore original) it stood out for the brillance with which Mitika carried it off as a song, as Shankar rightly said, Mitika makes the song her own .......... thats the quality of a singer to be able to sing any song as if it were his/her song, and to sing a song which we have heard so often without imitating the original is a feat in itself.

Agree 100%. I liked the way Mitika sing that song.

I think Mitika did a very good job ....1st u have to keep in mind that this is a duet song ...when somebody sings a duet song without faltering in sur ..the battle is won!!!!..

As they say , when u r singing a duet or 3 people song saas lene ki jagah bahut kam hoti hai...there Mitika scored a 100 ....ON top of that as Bantoo said she made the song her own ....

So..yes ..she aced in that song!!!!!😃

i agree with u guys...mithika gave a very good performance...She is among the top best female singers on this show...and is always consistent...I have liked all her performances so far !
