Exactly! That is the tone I had meant in one of my earlier post. If you listen to her song of this time (Sept 19th and 20th episodes), and compare it to the rest of the 13 contestants, her nasal tone is so obvious! Now dont tell me that all the songs she sings/sang had the nasal tone in the original one!!

Maybe Zee wants to make her a host for one of their shows they plan to air in Pakistan, like they had Mauli for Rock n' Roll Family show. It would be hard to get a female to be the anchor in Pakistan otherwise. So they are using SRGMP for gaining popularity for her in Pakistan so that they can air her show without much objections or obstacles...

OMG! how come ppl hate passionately but do not switch TV off for 2 minutes.

Shamshad begum has more nasal twang but she was so busy in her time singing songs. look at Himesh he is so famous now. Nasal twang is mention in the same tone as somebody did the greatest crime on earth.

Perhaps someone can enlighten me. I thought most Punjabi and Sufi songs sound good with the Nasal Magic Twang. It gives a naturalness to the tone like country and westerns.

I think that unskilled singers who attempt high notes and don't succeed have the 'nasal twang'! I wouldn't call it the 'Nasal Magic Twang' - that would be like accepting it and crowning it! I would say they are perhaps having indigestion problems ************* 😉 😆

And by the way, Zee shouldn't worry about attracting viewers from abroad. Pakistanis have been watching Indian stuff despite being banned anyway. What difference does it make. Even in the UK, Pakistanis have been caught making pirated copies of Indian DVDs and CDs in house raids! Shameless, sinful acts! They call it 'shirk'!

seriously i can't believe the sudden influx of xenophobic posts in this forum..

anyway these posts reflect NOTHING about Sara or her singing but rather are reflections of how the posters are, so m_khan, it is better not to reply or try to defend Sara..she does not need it

and you might end up getting a warning instead.. -shrug-
