Last week it was that music director and this week its Jatin Pandit...I dont know what their problems are...
There was no need for this type of behavior by anybody. Show the kids their mistakes that they can learn from. Dont compare one kid to another. These kids are all ewually good in their singing. Each has a plus point and minus point. Show them the correct road. Dont yell, argue, blame anybody on this show. The look on the kids faces should tell you how hurt they get.
There was no reason for Jatin to say all the things about how good he is and how many people that have sung with him in the past. To me they were no big deal and have had they big successes and many failures. I dont think they were in the calibre of the past greats. Who cares about what you have done. For him to put Kailash Kher dont by saying "I dont know what you have done" ,,,etc. was so uncalled for. I think these people need to get some good manners if they want to come on show where there are going to be kids on them...
Jatin is really useless. Only Adnaan was really kind to the kids. His tone when speaking to the kids was the best...
Please dont bring jackasses like Jatin and the last weeks guys to this show again...

@ vickosh: You have hit the nail in the right place here.

Whatever Jatin uttered in response to Kailash was so uncalled for. He also added on saying "mujhe aapka background pata nahi hai, par main 5 generations ke music background se aaya hoon...". Wo cares? And I won't even say that KK rubbed him the wrong way. Whatever Jatin was saying had tones of being vengeful and as if he was trying to prove a point. That was so low. I mean he really feels this insecure that he needs to utter all that nonsense in front of the audiences after giving music for so many films. It was so childish.

Anu Malik on the other hand was very nice. For a change, I liked his presence on the show.

I agree that Jatin's behaviour and body language was very unprofessional and childish. Most of us know that he comes from a very strong musical background or Gharana and he is also related to Pt. Jasraj ji. His dad had worked with Laxmikant Pyarelal ji. Sulakshana Pundit was a successful actress in late seventies. she used to insist that she would sing all her songs herself. I remember one of her songs- mai peetal ki payaliya bhi pahnu jo payo mai, sonne ka bhev gir jaayee. His younger sister Vijeta Pundit did her first film Love Story with Kunal Gaurav which was a box office hit. She later got married to Adesh Srivastav, who is another big mouth on reality show.
Jatin Lalit composed music for numerous bolck buster films like Jo jeeta wahi Sikander, Kuch Kuch Hota hai, Dil walee Dulahiya le gayeege, Finaa etc.
If he is a successful music director that doesn't mean that he has earned a license to insult anybody on the sets of SRGMP. Why did he say that when KK was biting apples in kashmere he was composing music in film industry? He even questioned KK's background. He was so mean and immature in his language. He needs to learn when and how to bite his tongue. That was a highly unprofessional conduct on his part on national tv.
Baree barai na karee baree na bolee bool, Rahiman Heera kab kahee laakh taka mero mool, Rahima laakh taka mero mool.
Not only that he didn't call Lata ji, Rafi sahab or Kishor da's name with respect. 😳 Jatin said that they all had worked with him and he used to edit the unwanted/unauthrized harkets and murkeyas because he was a music director.
By the way, Rafi sahab left us in 1980 and Jatin started his career in 1991. I think what he meant was that he used to polish Rafi sahab's shoes.😆

I agree - I found him rude and arrogant. They should come to such shows in such humbleness so that these kids would want to follow in their steps but watching his act in this manner was just so sad. for him to say to kailash that he was already successful when kailash was still growing up was downright rude. Shameful

I totally disagree with ur POV. KK should not behave and comment on jatin's decision.. The way he commented on Jatin's decision lead to an unnecessary argument. The organizers must have organize face off round and jatin was there to select .. So its his judgement. Who is KK to say that his judgement is correct or not , jatin is a senior person he should respect his like Adnan did not giving nasty and indirect comments to insult his judgement.

Sp the battle between Nitin and Niladari ; Its so clear that Niladari was far better so there KK's judgement was bad..where jatin was correct..

Whereas there may be differences between two ppl, so for me its all KK's fault..

Both KK and Jatin needed a refresher on manners. KK shldnt have questioned JP's decision the way he did. He cld have asked politely why if he disagreed.
Also JP being so renowned had no need to drop names or be so rude. He was totally up for a fight.
Alka should have been there to play referee.

I am with you vikosh. you are absolutely right.
These kids are already in a big tense for going to finals
The adults are arguing making them so confused.
I started with Salmaan. Kailash, Pyarelal, and Ram they had a
very bad argument and Salmaan was on the munch.
From that day Salmaan's performance is not up to the mark.
I think this was a pre planned argument right after Salmaan's son.
Lata ji and Alka ji already made Salmaan a winner.

Competitions are not for singers but these are for songs.

Winner without singing can not be decided and they did not say any word certainly. It is their opinion not the declaration.

If Salman can not sing any single song out of his comfort zone, then, how can he be winner. Just for good throw or high range, one can not be winner.

There is a difference between real tears and crocodile tears.

IMO Jatin was absolutely right.

Exactly that's how I felt. I rarely watch this kid's program but happened to be in front of the TV when this drama happened. No clue to why they were arguing/putting each other down in front of kids. Adults and that too professional renowned adults have to be role models for young minds. In the first place these kind of competitions should not happen among kids ( below 16 years in age). This brings about negative competetiveness among them which could wound their young hearts. When I started understanding the US school system, I did not like the fact that no official report card is given with a rank. The teacher would just politely say that your child is one ofthe best. I yearned to know more about how other kids were and how a particular child fared amongst the class. No replies were given. After lots of discussions and reading various articles, I started appreciating this fact that each kid has his/her own strength. One could be very good in Maths, than the other one could be a fast reader, one is a smart writer and other one has strong artistic hands. We can't compare them. We should not bring the competition at this raw age in their minds. So much so that if groups of high reading or maths is moved to another room, the effort is done to shuffle the left out kids also so as no hard feelings are there and the kids never come to know why they are ina particular group. The teacher takes the responsibility of finding their individual strengths and directing them in the right direction. Never the test reports are given out in open. No child is compared with a paricular fellow student.
For me the format of this program, where the kids are inthe age group range of 6-15 , that brings negativity on a global platform with egoistic gurus and irresponsible judgement is totally wrong. Would not send my child for any such drama competition.

Just because KK didn't agree with Jatin's decision does not mean that Jatin can go on a tirade. The reason they're called judges is so they can say their opinions. I was very happy with KK calling out the other judges on being diplomatic. Why do that? Just say who sung better. It's really not that hard.
BTW, Nitin sung those songs much better than Niladri or Azmat. He deserved to win the matches.
Also, versatility is overrated. Who cares??? Every artist has their niche and many artists make their money by singing a particular type of song. Salman can earn a name by singing his type of songs, he doesn't need to go out of his way to change.
Just my two cents.
