Yes, you both are right, MAM. Lata-ji was also very much inspired by Noor Jehan, and Asha-ji was also inspired from Geeta Dutt. There not too many lady singers back then, so they were influenced by who was popular then.

I don't mind if they audition for different shows until they get selected for one, but I don't like it when they've already competed, and then they come to a different show. They already got a chance to showcase...

I am seeing so many contestants coming to SRGMP from diff musical reality shows..

I want to know how many went to other reality shows after participating in SRGMP😳

Yeah, I was wondering that too. I think though, their contracts might not allow it. I don't remember exactly was posted, but I remember a while back reading here that they have really strict contracts.

Oh wow Mrin is out? 😔 I haven't seen today's epi and i just got done posting how much i liked Mrin. 😆

When the show started, I liked her. However, in the latest episode, I realized that she doesn't have the X factor, she is not memorable at all. Her voice was too soft and lacked the strength that is so important to stand out. In fact, her back-up singers completely overshadowed her. She has a beautiful voice, but it is neither memorable nor distinct, which I think is very important to be successful as a singer. Shreya Ghoshal has a beautiful thin voice, but it has a strength that has made her popular in the industry. Arshpreet lacks the X factor.
