Please use the 'Thank You' button

Hi Friends,

In order to make the discussions on a certain topic useful we would appreciate if our members start using the "Thank You" button instead of posting messages like "Thanks", "thx", "thanks for the info" or something like this.

It will also help in keeping the topic relevant and more important messages on top instead of finding those ones in middle of 10 thank you posts.

Many do the posts just to raise the posts count but soon that is going to be re-adjusted when we do the database clearing.

Moderators / Viewbies we need your help in this and we are sure this will make India Forums even better in terms of user experience and less time will go in going through "thank you" or the +1 posts.

This is one extremely important habit we must grow in I-F....it's not that people don't want to but often they end up posting a simple thanks!

Thank You for putting up the post at the top, it's a good reminder and of course on a separate note, counting thanks is not bad either😉

We are working on a "points" system where by members do gain Points on using "Thank You" button feature and the topic starter gets more points for posting an interesting topic.

Thanks vijay bhai.... do tell the ppl to press thank you button or post something wothwhile... they just read n leave without even saying thankyou...so plz do something that when they read a post . the least they can do is press thany you :)

Bro, this is definitely needed - after so much explanation people still keep posting just "thanks" in topics.

I also like the "gaining points for saying thanks" idea 😉
