While I commend this initiative (I have always found 1-line thank you notes to be irritating), I also share Sheena-Row's concern that the "Thank You" button appears only below the very first post of a thread. Most of our posts are updates and there could be several updaters within a week. In such cases, hitting the "thank you" button in response to the latest post would credit the wrong person.

Is there any way round this shortcomiing? Perhaps you can append the "Thank you" button to every post (next to the quote or reply or other appropriate button).
