Have a director in you, who just cant wait to make movies? Have a flair for film making? Acting? Well, then India-forums now has a opportunity to show case your talents.
India-forums launches its first international film festival. Starting the second week of October, India-forums will begin accepting entries for their short film festival. All submitted movies will be scanned by the creative team in Mumbai. The films will be judges by two categories – General Submissions and Film Fest entries. Films that pass thru the selection process will be put up under our video section for general voting and viewing. The best suited films will automatically qualify for the film festival. If any wishes to apply to just one of two categories, they must specify that clearly on the registration form. Post the film festival, awards will be sent out to the most deserving candidates in the respective categories.
Here are the rules and regulations for film submissions:
- Needless to say, the films have to be a product made entirely by you. If the film has any copyrighted issue, the film cannot make it to the either of the two categories. Being an international film festival, people from all over the globe can submit their entries. You can mail/drop the entries to our office in Mumbai, along with the registration form (address at the end) The entries have to be in proper DVD/VCD format. You must be 16 or older to qualify to submit a film for any category Date open for General Submissions: 20th October Date Open for Film Festival: 20th October to 30th November The most voted film under the General category (from 20th October to 30th November) will automatically qualify for the film fest. The films will be put up as soon as they reach us, and are screened There is no entry fee for the film festival. For financial queries for the General Submissions, you may contact us (contact info put below) For all other queries, feel free to call/e-mail us, our team will be happy to assist you. Multiple entries are accepted. Submitted short films can be fiction, animated, documentaries. The films can be any where from 3mins in length to 30mins. Inclusive of the title and credits. The films can be shot on cell phones, digital cameras, or high definition cameras, as long as they are on the DVD/VCD Registration forms will be available on this page starting the 15th of October, you can also e-mail us, and we can e-mail you the registration form starting the 15th.
- Though we do encourage that you make a fresh project, however, we also accept films made previously, and sent to other film festivals.
