The third season of Indian Idol went on air this week. This season shows Anu Malik, Alisha Chinoi, Udit Narayan, and Javed Akhtar in the panel of judges. The first set of auditions were shown through the first 2 episodes, but not many quality singers were found. A 16 year old girl, Richa, from Amritsar left a pretty good impression on judges as well as viewers, along with Sreeju and Ankita. Most of the other contestants' auditions were merely for comic relief.

Case of the Murderer in Air—Tanvi Prakash, a famous page 3 journalist has a few students under her training. One day, as her strudents come to her house for their usual training, they realize that Tanvi is not opening the door. The students sneak into the house, only to be poisoned by some mysterious poisonous fumes in the air and they all land in the ICU in a serious condition. Inder leaves the wedding to go see Amrita, but on his way there he realizes that he is being followed and in the process gets in an accident. Dadi makes an excuse for Inder's absence in the wedding and Mama ji does the kanyadaan. A gravely injured Inder makes his way to Amrita's house and dies in a tearful Amrita's arms. Amrita tells a traumatized Ayesha that this is your father; he has come and fulfilled his promise.
