Iron-ji: It;s weird.
Before the contest re-started on Monday, there was an adjustment. I didn't fully understand how it was calculated, but it was clear everyone's counts got adjusted.
But then on Wednesday, 2 days after the most recent start, I had gotten down to 89 balloons with no questions pending, and the very next day, my count was spontaneously adjusted to 111!! This took me from a fighting #2 position to a distant #5.
It is HIGHLY unlikely that this spontaneous 22 point increase (no other person in the top 5 had such a huge swing) could be a valid adjustment.
By my estimate, the total number of balloons I reduced in playing the contest 21/2 days was no more than 45. It is *HIGHLY* improbable that 22 of these would be "invalid."
Another big problem I have noticed is that I cannot send balloons to the people above me even if over 48 hours have elapsed since I last sent them a balloon.
It is for these reasons that I have asked an accounting of my balloon count. If anyone has answers, I'd be most grateful 😃
The balloon count adjustment before the restart had the effect of penalizing those who were playing the game from the beginning, to the advantage of those who started only on this go.
