Auto Close for topics older then 90 days - Page 8

cool idea. but i was just wondering, would that mean the fffs would end too? cuz i know that there are some ffs on forums and the member doesn't have time to update, but will when they have time. would those close too?

Ok.....this is a cool feature......

pls also include bookmark feature.....personal bookmark sort of....so tht we can bookmark some topics that are interesting and want to follow when we dont have any comment to add......

Earlier I had a signature.....later when thot of using no signature....I cant....the old one still appears or in other words, once we set a signature we dont have an option to remove it?

well i feel the same thing... this feature cud create a problem for the VM, AVI n FF SECTIONS....

It would be great if FF's, VM's and similar creations of user's are maintained separately.......separate from discussions on the show......Some time is needed to read them......when we enter the forum for jus a sneak peak, these appear on the top and it is a task to find actual discussions.

Personally, I don't feel it is a good idea. To a certain extent I can understand that you would need to close old posts on TV show forums this I can understand, however, it would be convenient if Fan Fiction. AVI and VM section topics did not get locked, as this could be seen as problematic in the future. Topic makers may need to comment back on a post, or update a segment of their Fan Fiction after 90 days. Moreover, some AVI shops tend to update the shop monthly, so this could cause problems. Therefore I feel if the locking system was raised off of the FF, AVI and VM section., then this would be of great help.
