Great work. This Hall of Fame looks a great idea. 👏👏👏I appreciate your efforts in this, though I have few suggestions. 😆

Its all upto u, to take it or not. I don't know if these things already exists.

The vote count (number of times Like button is pressed for the particular user) can be given a name, instead of just Votes. Like Choco, Bingo, Star, Shine, Rose or anything else. Eve, the like button can be renamed with the same thing.
There can be classification on this voting on how much they like the post in to three categories. I accept this is a hard thing> but just a suggestion so that if u feel, it can be implemented at any point of time in future.
To avoid spam, voting can be restricted by time. A minimum time limit between any two consecutive votes.
Also, members can be allowed to vote only when they post a min. of posts in the forum. May be 10 posts or so. This is another way to avoid spam.
Is that only one page of members will be listed. If so, that should not be.
In the Hall of Fame members list, just as you have classified the view into Today, week, month, there can be classification for the range of votes . Like 1-10 votes. 50-200, 201-1000 more than 1000. So page navigation can be reduced.

These are just my two paisa worth suggestions.😉

I don't know but I just can't agree with this!!!!

I mean an annual awards is fine but this is making things too competitve!!!!!

We come here and have discussion and have fun and bascially this is like our second home for most of us!!!!

But having a thing like this throughout the year will make it just like people will keep on counting where they are in the hall of fame and stuff!!!!Once a year popularity judging is fine but all the time!!!!

I think it may just take the fun out of all this!!!!!

Please don't mind it was just an opinion!!!!!!

so does it mean ......even other person has opened thread to discuss something very similar we should not care to post our view there and open very similar thread??????? because after words it will start most popular thread starter.......

Hall Of Fame has suddenly created flood of posts in many forums before people use to start FF and VM threads to become popular and many important post used to remain on first page so everyone could see but now what ishappening is........each and everyperson is trying to post new threads for everything though they have Episode discussion thread............for small reason also now people opening thread though other has opened very similar planty of threads

and to show their activity and how they are being liked ....what many are doing is.......copy pasting their same answer in each and every posts.........

reason????/ now they have been informed show your full activity and you will be promoted as DEV team.............

i think i will be the only one who is complainig about this feature but let me tell you it is really very good feature .......but those who are genuine and really deserved it will not care on which chart they belongs...they will keep doing their work............like updating photo gallery, updating archivemension where already some other mods post they have to keep updating and that effort will not earn that hard working person any fame.......

any way...........why i i forced to write this post is i saw sudden flooding of many threads in my forum......

before it was well desciplined forum where everything was going with nice rules and systems....suddenly i saw why so many posts opening one after another and as mod i have to go through all posts if any left unattended can create problem but its problematic to read all posts and many has answer like copy paste i was away so was not aware of this feature but now picture is clear why our forum is flooded with posts.....

hi vijay

had another suggestion with the Like Feature could you make it so that a member is able to check how many Likes they have and on which post, right now that is not possible u see votes in HOF but it is impossible to judge where the Likes stem from so like a Like history type idea like u have with my Posts.

Also i'm not sure if someone has suggested this but can we have the option of customising profiles with skins

finally u know how there are interviews with actors and celeb blogs here on IF would it be possible rather than just having written interviews to have those interviews as podcasts so that members can listen as apposed to just read the interview transcript.

thats all for now i will post more suggestions as i think of them

edit sorry i just realised this is HOF and not suggestions but i have put a suggestion for HOF first so please accept 😃
