1) Janardhan - Wow I liked this man's guts. Seriously, he seems like the lone torch-bearing professor in that university. Has he genuinely turned over a new leaf? Well for one thing, his dialogues not only packed a punch but also made a lot of logical sense - especially for RJN standards... (aka I liked it when he stated that just because Shukla is out on bail, he's not innocent and cannot worm his way back into the uni)
Btw, I think this whole Shukla track is going to go on for a while because of the way he said that he's waiting for the court to announce him innocent and release him! In the real world, that could mean between 10 - 20 years...in serial world it would mean at least 20 days right? But, I still liked how Janardhan said he'd drag Shukla's case all the way to the supreme court if required!đ
2) INSA I loved the way Indu confided in his friends about how Sanchi was mistaking him.đł The brief Guddu-Sanchi across-the-tables confrontation was also nice. And of course, I loved how Indu stood up and confronted Sanchi about the Shukla information. He towered upon her đas he told her that he'd take care of Shukla by himself and that she need not worry. Yes, Indu primarily did say all that to challenge her about the Shukla issue. But then, somewhere I felt he said it (and meant it) to look out for her too. Even when he is in angry-mode, his protective instincts seem to be quite evident!
3) Sanchi Mehek I liked the brief Mehek-Sanchi scene. I was planning to open a post today about how the only expression Sanchi has these days is 'grit-my-teeth' expressions (except for the 4 min interval during the Raat akeli hai sequence!) But today, to watch the two girls share a few smiles was quite a relief to watch. I also liked Mehek's dialogue 'Bahut saari hindi movies dekhe hain, par tum jaisi heroine nahin dekhi'
(Lol! I had this wicked thought today - firstly, Mehek understands Indu better, she is more forgiving of Indu. And now she's even started punch-dialoguing like him - I tell ya, if Sanchi continues behaving like this...I'll start weaving dreams of a Indu-Mehek jodi very soon!) btw, Mehek's expressions seemed so adorable when she was curiously counting from 1 - 10...
4) Indu Indu storming into Sadanand's room - His dabangg attitude back in play here. When he's not around Sanchi, he's at his best! He is confronting Sadanand about why he bailed Shukla out...and when the lawyer refutes his blames, Indu is at a fix... and then he spots Sanchi! Despite all unpleasantness that transpired between him and his girl earlier in the morning, all Sanchi needs to do is to hurl him a pleading glimpse (requesting him not to question the lawyer any further) and the fellow instantly melts. He follows exactly what Sanchi requires him to do and he stops questioning Sadanand any further. Nevertheless, his expressions are to die for.
Rubina
As for Rubina - she seems pretty standard fare to me... For one thing, I still fail to see what she saw in Tiwari to agree to be his mistress. He's neither young, nor smart, nor rich, nor powerful đ They seem leagues apart!
What I'd like to see
I'm waiting to see the scene when Sanchi'd confide in Indu about his mama's mistress - I'd like to see how Indu would react to it, seeing that he is such a staunch one-woman man!
I don't know if the CVs have planned such a scene - but, I'd also like to see Indu coming across the Sada-Rubina photos. When he asks Sanchi how she got it, she refuses to give out the name of the informer with her standard 'tumhe inse koi matlab nahin'
However, Indu later on finds out that its Abhimanyu who's been doing the snooping around for Sanchi/Mehek. Being as territorial as he is, Indu is not going to be very happy about it. When he realizes that Manwa is doing all of it for Mehek, he suspects some sort of foul play. Hence, he gives Mehek a word-of-warning about how sly the guy truly is. Now, that way he'll have two girls in his kitty for sure - Veena and Mehek!
