This show had some real potential. The campus strong arm union guy with a secret soft streak who adores the campus brain: there's all sorts of future possibilities for long term narrative development, right to the point where Indu Singh does what all union leaders aim for, i.e. becomes an influential MLA, and then comes into conflict with Sanchi, by now an incorruptible IAS officer. But I think Indu Singh may have blotted his copybook a bit too much by roughing up Sanchi's father. It's not behaviour we can pardon in a "hero", surely? The CVs haven't been too perceptive here, but then CVs aren't the brightest and the best.
