HONEYMOON,
So let's see what our ever-romantic affectionate couple plan to do...

---------------------------------------

The episode starts with the violent antics of the generally calm Tarachand, making a lot of racket and din. Tossing things, throwing articles and breaking anything that comes in his way; the distraught father seems to be hell-bent on causing more destruction around his house than my two toddlers have managed to in mine. However, he is not to be blamed. The old man considers himself weak and helpless; unable to protect his family from the evil forces outside.
He wails for the fact that his daughter's dreams had to be shattered, merely because she had to protect him. (A touching moment!)
'She crushed all of her happiness for my sake, when I have never been able to give her any joy at all...I am forced to be nothing but a beggar... can do nothing but beg for my daughter's peace from Indu and from the Tiwaris...'

He wants to give up his life, but his brave daughter steps up as usual and advices him to steady himself. 'Your daughter is strong enough to bear whatever she has gone through' (kudos girl!) she continues valiantly 'Papa! We are what we are because of you, so please do not blame yourself for anything. Let's just support each other and stick together in these tough times...'

However, the wise Tarachand knows that a bad past always looms around like a perennial ghost. He is adamant to sell the house and leave this place for Barabanki or any place else that is as far away from Indu as possible
'No papa...if we run away.. how could we face ourselves... we have something called self-respect...today's girl is not as weak as Indu thinks...I will teach him such a lesson, that he'll think twice before humiliating another girl...'
With dialogues as punch-worthy as this, any parent is bound to be proud of their daughter, cave in and support her.
---------------------------------
After yet another bout of Radha's atrocious treatment of Anita, I must say that the latter is one character that stays unruffled amidst all the idiocy happening around her. Pure as pure can be; none of the evil, trash or dirt around her seems to affect her in any way.

Back in the small terrace, Indu asks his friends to leave the place and to shift back to their old 'adda', promising them that he will take care of all their needs. Practically, that flat could not have housed hordes of people anyway!
The emotional Guddu whines in reply 'We'll leave this place, but we'll never leave you Bhaiyya...'
Annoyed by the rant, Indu slaps himself in characteristic manner 'Why will I ask you to leave me, you idiot...I only asked you to shift your house...'
Watching them, Sadanand utters peacefully 'Looks like the Vaanar sena are shifting back to Ashok Vatika!'

Joining his mama and mami for the little tea party soon after, Indu listens to how earnestly the vile husband and wife thirst for Sanchi's blood, humiliation and insult!!! (Tiwari used to be a lawyer, before Sanchi became his obsession!)
Indu finally smiles and downs a marie biscuit, as he assures them 'I have plans that would make life so difficult for her, she would neither be able to live, nor die...she will find it difficult to live in this mohalla... and everyone will watch Indu Singh's plots with awe!' (Dialogue writer please move on to next level now)
-----------------------------
Stubborn about leaving for university alone, Sanchi assures her parents that she would call them to let them know she is fine (really must appreciate her guts)
However, on reaching the cycle stand of her college, her intuition irks her about something bad to happen there.
Lost in thought, she confides her fears to her only friend 'I am afraid that Indu Singh can do something to harm me here, like back at home...' she quickly reconciles herself 'No...I must overcome any fear within me to be able to fight off Indu Singh!'
So saying, the girls walk up to the college grounds, only to find it relatively empty!

Leave it up to Indu Singh to come up with the most ridiculous of ideas and here he has staged a reception dais at a far end of the campus. Dressed like a makeshift groom, he stands next to a large life-sized photo of Sanchi in her wedded attire, in front of a large group of audience waiting to greet him. Flanked by his friends as usual; the riotous Indu revels in the adulations; taking snaps, receiving gifts and accepting bouquets.
While the namesake professors watch on, they do nothing more than pass comments on their inability to bring a halt to the unruly 'Tamasha'.

Disgusted by the new turn of events; Sanchi decides to confront Indu, despite Mehek advicing her against doing so.
She walks up amidst the enthralled crowd right up to the point where Indu Singh can now see her.
The rowdy is dumbfounded. He probably notices that she does not carry the tell tale Mangalsutra and Sindoor, but that does not surprise him one bit. He then mischievously raises his eyebrows at her as though asking 'Why...what do you think of the arrangements'
Guddu quickly comes on stage to make the announcement 'Welcome bhabhi.. welcome.. this is our 'Bhaiya' Indu's wife...lawfully wedded...Sanchi Mathur...no..no...Sanchi Indu Singh'
Everyone claps (idiots)

Indu follows Guddu's introduction with a quick claim 'Here she comes... she is the one who carries signs of my Sindoor on her Maang.. she is mine... anyone now dare raise their eyes upon her... and they can forget about having eyeballs in their sockets' (Well this is the nearest I could come to translating the ceaseless volley of punch-lines Indu comes up with loool)
Guddu then requests his bhabhi to come up on stage and move the silly doll-like figurine of hers to rightfully take her place there instead.

I am guessing that Sanchi actually DOES start walking up to the stage to take her place (Much to the gang's surprise)

Tomorrow's precap is a testimony to that - Sanchi is staring at the amount of money she received at the reception. She says its Indu Singh's money and that she would return it to him with interest (Good you both continue playing MONOPOLY, while we viewers end up going grey-haired!!!)

Thanks! Loved your commentary! Seems like a silly episode - back to silly antics to break from the drama.
But nice tactic on Saanchi's part to go and nicely sit there(if she does next week) taking advantage of the situation!

What would irk Indu more? Saanchi taking advantage of it or rejecting it? Since he expects the latter, the first one right.. but here I am counting my chickens before the eggs hatch :)

Well Written Lashy...

WAR IS ON

I hated indu singh for planning to ruin saachi's life with tiwari's in today's episode 😡. Rest nuisance was much expected from him.

Best part when saachi was walking towards the stage Indu singh and gang was taken aback . They seemed to be really surprised.

Mujhe to lagta hai Saachi Election mein Indu singh ke harney ka main reason hoge.

Well creative team is trying level best to spoil Indu singh character . They have not understood that show is running because of his character .

thnx for the commentary Shraddha! Loved reading it.😆

@Ps_Ilu - I am also thinking that Sanchi is going the Reverse Psychology way. Indu expects rejection but Sanchi does the exact opposite!

Sounds like a toned down episode after all the drama for the last two weeks. So, does that mean the Mannu Bhaiya is also going to be shown😛

Lovely update, Lashy! Your comments are actually far better than the actual episode!😆
I found the proceedings a bit boring today...they are just dragging the same thing...Indu vowing to wreak havoc in his wife's life and the wife vowing to wreak havoc in his!😕 As you said, 'our ever affectionate couple!'😉😆
I only like the last scene where Indu is holding the mock reception...I know what he is doing is very humiliating for Sanchi, but Anirudh's expressions are so brillaint, I can't help but laugh at the entire set-up!😆 And loved the bit, when Sanchi walks up to him...he actually looked taken aback and on the back-foot!
Would love to see Sanchi herself remove the cut-out of hers and sit next to Indu...that woudl be brilliant!👏 The only way to tackle him is to play by his rules and not by confrontation and aggression!
Btw, I also liked the dialouge where Indu announces to everyone that since Sanchi is his wife, he doesn't want any other man in the college to even look at her, else he would take his eyesballs out! Now that makes me wonder, if he hates her so much, why would he bother to protect her?😕
Overall, an average episode...bit of a drag, but the ending was good! Any scene which has Indu and Sanchi together becomes interesting on its own! Our very own desi Tom and Jerry of Banaras!😆

Great post as usual Lashy!

Today's epi though it had the necessary scenes required to have a continuous flow, still lacked the punch that the earlier epis this week did.

I felt so bad for Tarachand, I've said it before and I'll say it again may no parent have to go through what Tarachand did. I don't have any children myself, but my nieces and nephews mean the world to me, and if they ever had to suffer due to protecting me, I would be absolutely devastated. How can parental figure who wants to be like a superhero to their child, live with suddenly becoming their kryptonite?

I still get the odd sense that the orthodox part of Veenaji, wants to rather push Sanchi and Indu together rather than tear them apart. It's just something in the way she looked at Tarachand when he wailed about having to beg for his daughter's happiness. I think she would have been ready to go right then and there to Indu and the Tiwaris, to ask them to accept Sanchi. Plus she didn't look to happy about the idea of selling up, and taking Sanchi away. Still more likely than not I'm probably wrong.

The only thing that marred that scene for me was to hear Sanchi preaching about the truth. Umm what leg do you have Sanchi to stand on when it comes to extolling the virtues of telling the truth?! And where may I ask has Indu lied?! He's been nothing but honest to you, since he met you. Yes his truth might be harsh even brutal sometimes, but still he hasn't lied as of yet to Sanchi nor her family about who he is, and what his intentions (good or bad) have ever been.

Ditto to anyone who thinks Anita is a gem of a person. You know I think she might help INSA come together. As both Indu and Sanchi owe her a debt and have solemnly vowed to repay her. I wonder what they will do if she requests both of them to stop fighting and at least attempt to make this marriage work?

Lol and finally Mahak's famous smirk made an appearance again! Though I didn't hate it too much this time as she was just happy to see her friend continue to be strong and fearless. I loved Sanchi's defiant walk, and the stunned looks on Indu's and his friends face when she faced them with her head held high.
The only time she faltered was when Guddo called her as Mrs. Sanchi Indu Singh, she flinched and lowered her eyes, so you could tell that blow hit home.

But the highlight had to be Indu and Sanchi's face off! I loved the way Indu automatically stood up when Sanchi walked onto the stage, he was just stunned. But then he too got a defiant look, I think Indu is prepared for his little sherni, to make a right tamasha so if Sanchi quietly walks to his side he will be floored.

At the end of the day I don't understand this whole public farce thing. Why is Indu annoncing this marriage and warning people to stay away from Sanchi? How dumb does he think people are? Don't you think they would have realised that all is not well, with the fact that Indu attended his reception with a cardboard cut out bride?! Plus Sanchi arrives on campus sans sindoor isn't going to give the game away?

How long and why these two plan to 'fool' people is beyond my understanding!

@ suki 11, well said, even i liked your post on indu-sanchi, fools paradise, you actually extract the essence of their relationship, hats off to you.
And really don't know how long this war will last but one thing is sure that cv's are making fool of indu. it was pretty clear and obvious that gradually sanchi is getting spport and will stay firm and solid and indu will left alone if he continues to behave the same 😳
quite boring episode, and with tarachand's outcry it makes me gloomy 😔
One more thing, shouldn't they loged an FIR against indusingh 😳

Thanks for the update.😊
Well, so I was right, she would be taking full advantage. But I hope in her desire to show up in Indu, Sanchi doesn't cross over a line.
But you know what I am really curious about, where the heck is Malti Devi? I know she was talking about going back to her home when the Tiwari's got kicked out but did she really leave while her son was in Jail? and now he is married and she is nowhere to be seen? I have a feeling she will come back and somehow pressure Indu and Sanchi to be like proper husband and wife...!

I can't wait to watch the episode...but its only 9.41a.m in Vancouver, Canada. It sucks...I am so cheating by being online right now lol

Can I just say...you all are killing me...🤢 ...in a nice way. 😉I am just itching to watch INSA face off.

@Suki, I loved your thought that Anita might ask for INSA's help. That would be brilliant. I agree Anita is a gem of a person. Love her, though I would like her to smack Radha when she misbehaves with her😡

I too am waiting for Malti Devi's return from Haridwaar as she went to pray for her Punchoo 😆
