What an episode... was this the same serial we were watching few weeks ago...
the chemistry is scintillating and the tensions are running so deep, it is diffcult to pen down in words!!!
I have only elaborated the INDU-SANCHI scene, but the entire episode was as well-balanced and fast paced as yesterday. A special mention to Sushilwa - he is an adorable teddy bear!
Back to the scene - In a locked room
(Indu is amused, when she actually locks the room)
He sweetly asks her "Are you satisfied now... It is only you and me alone here...now tell me"
As Sanchi tries to tell him about the house, Indu does not trust Sanchi one bit. He even mocks her "We both are alone in this room for a while now.. you might not have any interest in your reputation.. but I have in mine... so please come to the point"
When she talks about the property and the papers, he still thinks it yet another of her schemes (despite a brief sad jhalak into her past)
Finally frustrated, she screams back "What more do you need.. do you need proof that this house is indeed ours... that proof lies in this very house... the original papers...get me that...make this house my father's and I shall make you mine..."
Only then Indu wonders if there is some truth in her words.
Then there follows a beautiful parley, where Indu first promises her, with authority "If you and your family have been wronged, then trust me you shall be avenged.. you will get your property papers back..." He loves her, but he is not ready to be swayed by her "However, I am not a fool.. I have been fooled by you once... I shall give you the property papers only at the wedding mandap...when the rituals are going on..."
Sanchi retaliates "No... you give me the papers and only then I shall come to the mandap"
Indu threatens her "No...Sanchi ji...dont forget that you are all alone in this room with me..." he pauses "I have been cheated once...and I shall not let that happen again" he then assures her with a smirk "I will get you the property papers, by hook or crook, but they will be at the mandap only... and if anything is ever done to stop this wedding.. i will use all tricks in my means to make sure this wedding actually takes place!"
After a few arguments between the two, as to when the papers should be produced; Sanchi eventually decides to trust him on the fact that he would get her the papers "So you promise me that none of the wedding rituals will actually take place unless the papers are in my hand..."
When he assures her with a nod, she ends softly "Thank you..."
He completes "Very much!"
and then comes the best part He lays down his own terms. She is shocked that he has something to say too. He carries on "Why, are you the only one with right to laying down terms and conditions.. I could have mine too..." he reveals with a sarcastic smile "Throughout the wedding and its rituals, you shall be a smiling beautiful bride. People should not know that this wedding is a forced one."
When she finally relents, he promises her sarcastically "Dont worry, you will have a lifetime to hate me and many more incidents to do so, after the wedding..but during the wedding you will be a smiling bride...and this will be our little secret"
He will marry her, but he knows what lies ahead!!!
When they finally do go down, he authoritatively rolls out his palm in front of her and she meekly submits by putting her hand in his... she remains quiet in front of everyone, even later, when he has his arm wrapped around her shoulder
This episode is worth watching over and over!!!
