Logically Ishika and Ranveer both are antagonists . What is an antagonist? Who is opposite of the protagonist , who is jealous of the goodness of the protagonist and tries to bring him down , create hurdles for him . Ishika is also doing same . In the conflicts between Roop and Ranveer Ranveer is wrong and Roop is right Same in the conflicts between Roop and Ishika Roop is right Ishika is totally wrong . Just like the writer shows us difference between Roop and Ranveer Same he shows us between Roop and Ishika . Even if writer showed Ishika doing a few good works the writer actually showed us difference between Roop and Ishika How much good is Roop and how much pathetic is Ishika . Looking beyond all her misbehavior and misdeeds when she did any good work Roop appreciated that forexample when she helped a few children cross the road but Roop has done so many good works in front of her , he helped her so many times but she still calls him bad When she tried to help him during Dahi Handi competition Roop appreciated that and thanked her but she how many times Roop has helped her she never said thanks to him but continues to abuse him Similarly when she showed concern for his mother Roop appreciated that but when Roop showed concern for her father's health and her sister in law who actually begged to Roop to help her , she insulted him How dare you ? She also like Shamsher thinks Roop is a disgrace for choosing to study hotel management and not becoming a cop She and Roop are totally opposite in their traits and thinking so she is logically the antagonist not a lead . She cannot be lead either because this is story Roop's life journey and different challenges he faces in his life and Roop will be only one who will be righteous in this show because writer is giving his theme through him

Bottom line -- this is shashank's show and shashank has talent, looks, honesty towards work ...but it all going waste and TRP is down because of the ishika actress.. the show is about feminism..helping a needy woman is honorable, going after a disgusting female is disgraceful..going against your father for believing in what is right is commendable but going against your father for a spolied brat is betraying..unfortunately the writers don't seem to understand this difference and top of it the contacts of the actress

I don't like her parents characters also. She is bossing them around and they listen to her. Mom only smiles and flutters her eyelids. Both the parents are good actors. I have seen them in Beyhad and KUchh Pyar Ke Rang Aise Bhi. CVs please give them some meaningful roles. Something more than nodding to their pampered child and smiling and fluttering the eyelids.

What? This is too much. CVs have crossed all limits with her character. It is beyond redemption for me.

Why can't they get a good lead against Shashank? And marry this girl off to Ranveer.

I like Neil Bhatt though. I saw him in Diya Aur Bati Hum. He is a good actor.
