If a supervisor catches a student not doing his exam or writing songs then obviously that supervisor would speak up. Ishika had every right to question why the hell is Roop writing hindi song on his exam and not doing the exam. and also wasting time.
Palak getting involved by volunteering was stupid since she selfishly wanted to do that. Look how she was talking to Ishika before the police thing, in asking i am sure you will volunteer... atleast Ishika did, to help and do some extra work unlike Palak.
Literally Palak is in between Roop and Ishika. As she stands in front of Roop... but he still sneaks a look at Ishika... no matter how much Palak stands like between or is brick wall... Roop's gaze and love will always breakthrough and also will see and search Ishika.
As for Palak throwing the accusation, why are you like a glue stuck to Roop... lol. I had to laugh because that is exactly what i thought when i saw Palak literally standing next to Roop the whole time in the exam, its like she never moved. And then she has the nerve to say that... and to top of it all off, she throws a childish tantrum of throwing exam papers on the floor and still speaking rudely and again she takes it one level up by making a complete lie on Ishika to Shamsher which was so uncalled for. And yes Ishika tried to defend herself to him and even the principal... and then Palak again comes with her stupidity in hey stay away from Roop blah blah. In all this...who do you think Ishika is going to think is the main root of the problem... Roop. I kinda don't even blame her to even think that esp what just went down in that scene with his dad and the lies, and principal.
Also the dialogue was Ishika was actually trying to do what was right from wrong. Right is her asking why is Roop doing this, and also betraying his parents esp his mum will be hurt... etc. That is her having a right intention.. but no Palak comes and says he needs to fail, he has to fail etc. Palak is so wrong in just saying that (does not matter what intention she and esp Roop has on his exam but that does no excuse someone saying this is wrong as in purposely failing and writing rubbish in the paper)
Ishika is someone who will stand with the truth and right esp how she sees it from her pov... And also she does not know the full story of why Roop is hellbent on failing but still even if she knew.,.. she still would of said but you will be hurting your mum if she found out you did that etc.
I said before... i rather have Roop do his best, then purposely fail!
Atleast in trying his best - he is not wrong in his intention or have the guilt of purposely failing.
Again Ishika is the driving force, in this situation she is asking what are you doing, what you are doing is wrong, failing an exam, betraying your parents, or making a mockery of police exam...
Roop is in a dilemma but i rather see him doing his best, if he passes then he passes but he can still decline not to go into being a Inspector when the time comes and go where his passion. He can hold his head up high and tell his dad... he did his best, and that he despite him passing he does not want to do this! Shamsher can't find a trick his book to say hey take the exam again cos you purposely failed...
