i think for genuine trp atleast some tv channels owners ( who dont have a stake i BARC) should petition to indian govt to make install a chip in set top boxes.

ofcourse congress will oppose it saying govt becoming watch dog etec ..

come on there are no po*n channels out there so why people object if govt knows what tehy r watching

ofcourse cong is not for people concern

they r gettng bribrs from 75000 cr ad market out there .

if trp are genuine then bribe money stops from channel owners who r playing with trp

AS LONG AS TRP ISSUE is not solved we never can watch GOOD SHOWS LIKE RLHN on tv

actually SMRITI IRANI wh is honest wants to install chips she made that proposal and cong dogs started barking that privacy will be disturbed

what privacy is lost if govt knows whayt chanel u r watching

when u going to bank are u not giving them u r address details and u r phone number for u r bank account ..wont privacy disturbed by that if u go with same logic

but officials in TRAI who are used to briberies and cong scam MPs and scam party heads dont want to let it happen as their supply of money from channel owners will stop
