we bought the show to this stage. if you want the show to survive, what is needed to backing the entire show and the leads. what is needed is while complaining, staying with it and watching it still and saying we will give more trp if you give us what we want.
we went to a stage where people stopped watching declaring that they will watch it only when their wishes are fulfilled immediately. "love story not starting fast enough" "ratan is not maturing fast enough" "diya is too dreamy" PH tried to give us our wishes and we held them to ransom even more. we wanted more crisp epis...less build up..the one thing that creates drama and brings trp aunties. we got bored with tracks that were as per our wishes even before they started...and blamed ph for boring tracks still. i am not saying this to point fingers. what is done is done. i am saying this so that in case sony changes decisions, we dont do it again
the fault is not in changing sony timings, because if someone loves the show, they still watch it. here people choose some of their other shows that they were watching on the side instead of ours.
EDT being pulled off was well advertised. their new combined promo didnt have a slot for EDT at all. it still has for RLHN...so the intention from Sony was to keep it at 9pm.
other shows have online trp of 12+ in some cases ...if people watched it online at least there would have been some saving grace because sony would have thought about it.
if this news does turn out to be true...we are all equally to blame for not watching the show on TV or even online to support it because we wanted things just the way we wanted it. there are many here who stayed loyal and tried to give trps (though trp is from select homes only)...but for all of us who did stick with it, there was a decent number that played on ransom that we will all need to live with result of that.
in past when news wasn't true, PH confirmed it. now they are quiet. it is telling.
25 may be their last shooting date may be because otherwise crossroads promo or K3G promo would have already come. it is not much but i dont know what can help now.
